Black Myth: Wukong – All Luojia Fragrant Vine Locations

The glowing vines are breathtaking in the dark!

If you’re planning to upgrade your Gourd in Black Myth: Wukong to allow yourself to heal more often without visiting a Shrine, then you’ll need Luojia Fragrant for that. Luojia Fragrant Vines are either guarded by a powerful enemy or hidden somewhere. Keep reading and we’ll reveal every Luojia Fragrant Vine location in the game!

All Luojia Fragrant Vine Locations

This special type of vine will appear long and draping, dotted with tiny, golden berries. They are scattered all across the map and you can access more of them as you complete chapters along the way. 

You’ll find these vines in the first 5 chapters of the game. We’ve laid out the location of all of the Luojia Fragrant Vine you’ll find in each chapter. You can also use the table of contents below to navigate through each chapter. 

Chapter 1: Black Wind Mountain 

You’ll find one Luojia Fragrant vine in Chapter 1.

Luojia Fragrant Vine # 1: Mabmboo Grove | Marsh of White Mist

Head over to the Marsh of White Mist in Bamboo Groove. There you should find that the vine is directly to the left of the shrine.

Chapter 2: Yellow Wind Ridge

There are 2 Luojia Fragrant vines in chapter 2.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #2: Yellow Wind Formation | Windrest Bridge

From the shrine, proceed ahead, go over the bridge and through the village. 

On the other side of the village, you’ll find 3 rat enemies in red robes. Defeating them will allow you to unlock the wooden gate that’s behind them.

Once you successfully go past the gate, turn right and you should find the second Fragrant Vine. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #3: Yellow Wind Formation | Windseal Gate

Once you’ve cleared the area where you defeated the First Prince of Flowing Sands, go past large red doors and down the hill. There you’ll find a small opening with a statue carved into the face of the rock. 

You’ll need to defeat a small boss named Gore-Eye Daoist Spirit to get to the vine.

Chapter 3: The New West

There are 4 Luojia Fragrant vines in Chapter 3.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #4: Bamboo Grove | Marsh of White Mist 

Fast travel back to the Chapter 1 location and go to the Shen Monkey Merchant. The Luojia Fragrant Vine becomes available at his store when chapter 3 starts. You can purchase the vine to obtain it.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #5: Pagoda Realm | Outside the Wheel: 

You’ll find a cave right by the shrine. When you proceed inside the cave, you’ll find the tree with the vine on the left corner of the cave. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #6: Bitter Lake | North Shore of the Bitter Lake: 

Once you reach this shrine, keep going straight. Proceed to follow the shoreline all the way to where it ends. That’s where you turn left and go up the path.

Upon reaching the very top, you should see a cave. Don’t enter the cave and instead turn left to enter the area with 3 enemies. Defeat them and you’ll have access to the tree with the yellow vine.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #7: Valley of Ecstasy | Longevity Road: 

You should find a snowy slope to the left side of the shrine. Stick to the leftmost path near the cliffs. At the end of the path, you will find the tree. Before you get to the tree, however, you must defeat two bird enemies that will spawn.

Chapter 4: The Webbed Hollow

There are 4 Luojia Fragrant vines in Chapter 4.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #8: Bamboo Grove | Marsh of White Mist

Once again fast travel back to the Chapter 1 location and go to the Shen Monkey Merchant. Another Luojia Fragrant Vine becomes available at his store when chapter 4 starts. You can purchase the vine to obtain it. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #9: Webbed Hollow | The Verdure Bridge: 

Take the left path from Verdure Bridge. When you spot the green bridge with roots growing on it. Then, take a left turn where you see two lanterns dropping down on your right side.

Keep heading forward until you find stairs that lead you up to a village. You should find the yellow vines hanging from a tree the moment you enter the village. The vine is not for taking until you defeat a Scorpion enemy, who also drops a Spirit once it’s down. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #10: Webbed Hollow | Cliff of Oblivion

Go to the cliff of Oblivion and enter the dimly lit cave. At the end of the pathway, you’ll encounter a set of stairs and a giant hand connected to the end of a giant moth.

Walk to the other side using the moth as a bridge and then turn left to jump off ledges twice. You should encounter a webbed bridge. Use this bridge to lead you to the other side and past a cave with giant spiders or most likely moth eggs.

Underneath the eggs, there’s another bridge. Use it to get to the other side until you’re at a much greener place. Proceed ahead and you should find the tree with the glowing vines. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #11: Temple of the Yellow Flower | Mountain Trail: 

You’ll find the vine in plain sight the moment you turn around upon reaching the shrine. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #12: Purple Cloud Mountain | Valley of Blooms 

The Purple Cloud Mountain is a secret area. Go over to the shrine. Once you’re facing it, drop down to the left side of it where you should also find some water. Walk past the water until you can spot the golden vines hanging from a tree.

Chapter 5: Flaming Mountains

There are 2 Luojia Fragrant vines in Chapter 5.

Luojia Fragrant Vine #13: Bamboo Grove | Marsh of White Mist

This Chapter also provides you with a chance to obtain a Vine from the Shen Monkey Merchant. 

Luojia Fragrant Vine #14: Woods of Ember | Height of Ember

Find the shrine and proceed ahead. Go past the location where you fight the “Father of Stones” boss. Follow the left path all the way till the cliffside ends. You should find the last Luojia Fragrant Vine of the game!

There are no Luojia Fragrant Vines in the last Chapter.

When you collect vines, you can take them to the Shen Monkey NPC back in Bamboo Grove, Marsh of the White Mist to upgrade your Gourd. Upgrading the Gourd to 9 healing charges is needed to obtain the Always Accompanied achievement to unlock the Supreme.
