The Simple Staff is an entry-level magical weapon that appears early in the game. This staff is ideal for beginners who want to try out magic and acquire a feel for ranged combat.

Since this staff is mostly for beginners, you will have no problem finding it. You will just have to take a look around the early game biomes, and you will get it soon.

The Sticky Stick is an unusual staff that offers a delightful touch to your magical arsenal. It can be obtained from specific loot chests or dropped by certain foes in the early biomes. It is recognized for its sticky capabilities, making it a unique but effective weapon.

The Fireball Staff is ideal for gamers who enjoy fire-based attacks. This staff can be found in the forgotten ruins, and it is dropped by caveling shaman. It is an effective weapon for dealing with large groups of opponents.

The Arcane Staff is a mid-game weapon that deals significant magical damage. It can be discovered in more difficult environments and is frequently dropped by arcane or mystical opponents. This staff is great for gamers looking to increase their magic damage output.

You can get it from Malugaz the Corrupted boss in the forgotten ruins. You also have a chance to get this staff from Ghorm the Devourer boss in clay caves and forgotten ruins. But the Malugaz the Corrupted boss has a guaranteed chance.

Scholar’s Staff

  • Caveling Scholar in forlorn metropolis.

The Scholar’s Staff is a unique staff that launches a powerful energy bolt. Its secondary use, strong multishot, fires up to two more bolts depending on charge time. You can get this staff from Caveling Scholar enemy in the forlorn metropolis. Because this staff is only found in water biomes, you will not be able to get it until way later in the game.

With the latest update, the staff got some updates. These are:

  • Now deals magic damage.
  • Now provides a base +25.7% magic damage instead of +28.8% range damage.
  • Base damage increased from 221−269 to 288−350.
  • Base mana cost increased from 0 to 23.
  • Durability decreased from 250 to 225.

Sun Caller

  • Drop from any of the Titan bosses.

The Sun Caller is an epic staff. It fires projectiles that bounce once and explode upon impact. Like the Arcane Staff, this one also has a secondary use named strong multishot. Since this one both inflicts fire and explosive damage, we can say that it is a very unique weapon. However, you need to be very careful with this one while using it.

You can get this by beating any of the Titan bosses including Azeos the Sky Titan, Crydra the Ice Titan, Druidra the Wild Titan, and Pyrdra the Fire Titan.

Zealot’s Scimitar

  • Caveling Mummy in the desert of beginnings.

The Zealot’s Scimitar is a rare magical weapon. It functions similarly to a sword but costs mana to use. The Zealot’s Scimitar is the only melee magical weapon in the game.

Since this weapon keeps draining your mana each time you use it, you might not want to use it. Still, you can get it from Caveling Mummy in the desert of beginnings.

Chaos Staff

  • Craft it with the required items at the rift statue.

The Chaos Staff is a rare staff. It fires one of the following projectiles at random: flintlock musket shot, bubble bubble, thrown jellyfish, shockwave shockwave, galaxite energy, burnzooka shot, ricochet shuriken, sun orb, or void orb.

Unlike the other staves you can get in the game, this one is not a drop. But it requires you to craft it to be able to get it. In order to craft this weapon, you should use the rift statue and craft it with these items:

  • Pandorium Bar x 20
  • Cytoplasm x 15

Summoner Tomes / Spells

Summon weapons are weapons that summon temporary minions to battle with the user. Each minion kind has its own behavior and attack style.

By default, the player can only summon one minion at a time. This can be boosted by wearing specific armor or accessories. Attempting to summon a new minion after the cap has been reached will cause the oldest one to despawn.

  • Tome of the Dark: Use it to summon Bat Minion. You can find this tome by opening locked copper chests around the biomes.
  • Tome of the Dead: Summons Skeleton Minion. You will be able to get it from Large Mold Vessel, Mold Tentacle, or Infected Caveling.
  • Tome of the Deep: You can summon Jellyfish Minion with this tome. It is a drop from the locked octarine chest.

Armor

With the update, there are new armors added to the game as parts of sets. We are going to take a look at a couple of them and also mention where to find them.

  • Ranger Set: You will find the ranger hood in the starter biomes by opening a bunch of chests. It is pretty easy to find, but also worth it because we can say that it is a good starter armor.
  • Chieftain Set: This one is also an early-game armor. So you can find it in starter biomes from chests.
  • Soaring Set: Once again, a starter armor you can find during early-game stages.
  • Shaman Skull: It is an epic helmet that you can get from Malugaz the Corrupted or Caveling Shaman. But the first one has more chance to drop it.
  • Wildwarden Set: You can get it from the locked scarlet chest.
  • Corrupt Warden Set: You can either find it in a locked scarlet chest or Ivy the Poisonous Mass.
  • Sorcerer Set: Either get it from Morpha the Aquatic Mass or find it in a locked octarine chest.
  • Grim Set: You will be able to get it from Igneous the Molten Mass or a large charred crate.
  • Hydra Set:
  • Core Commander Set: As the name suggests, you can get it from Core Commander enemy.
  • Arcane Monk Set: Get it from a locked solarite chest or Druidra the Wild Titan.
  • Pandorium Helmet: This one is a craftable armor. You can craft it with 20 pandorium bars, 8 solarite bars, and 10 cytoplasms.
  • Sulfossil Set: You can get it from Urschleim boss. Since this one is a late-game boss, you will have to wait until you reach late-game biomes.

Rings and Amulets

New rings and amulets can be found throughout the game, each with its own set of bonuses. These goods can be obtained through treasure chests, drops from rare opponents, or as rewards for completing difficult objectives.

These rings and amulets pretty much look like the biomes they belong to, so you can easily tell which biome you will get them. There are a lot of them that you can find all through the game, so you will probably get across them by doing what we have mentioned above.

New Weapons

There are a couple of new swords you can get in the game. But the best ones are the Stormbringer and Phantom Spark. We will take a look at them separately.

  • Hydro Bone Sword: A rare sword that you can get from Pyrdra the Fire Titan.
  • Pandorium Axe: It is a rare sword, its secondary use is wide slash. The wide slash strikes targets within a 4-tile range. It takes 0.9 seconds to charge up. You can craft it with 25 pandorium bars and 20 cytoplasm.

Stormbringer

The Stormbringer is a legendary hand drill and an enhanced version of the Obliteration Ray. Unlike other hand drills, it benefits from increased melee attack speed. It is a craftable weapon, you can craft it with:

  • Pandorium Bar x 100
  • Solarite Bar x 100
  • Cytoplasm x 50
  • Obliteration Ray

Because the Stormbringer lacks durability, it cannot be reinforced. The movement speed increases after mining a wall, which lasts 5 seconds.

Phantom Spark

The Phantom Spark is a legendary bow. Killing an enemy with the Phantom Spark has a 20% chance of summoning a temporary Ghost Scholar, who will heal and help the player in battle.

This chance remains unaffected by upgrades. Ghost Scholars will automatically despawn after 15 seconds. Its secondary use, Strong Multishot, discharges up to four more bullets depending on charge duration.

Phantom Spark is a craftable weapon as well. You can craft with Glyph Parchment with the following items:

  • Channeling Gemstone
  • Fractured Limbs
  • Energy String
  • Octarine Bar x 100
  • Ancient Gemstone x 20

Stormbringer vs Phantom Spark

Some players believe that the Stormbringer is currently the best weapon available. Perhaps not in terms of raw damage, but it’s essentially a massive laser with no durability requirements, making it ideal for battling huge numbers of opponents and melting bosses. But will it be able to top the Phantom Spark? Probably not, given that it has significantly more raw damage.
