In this quest, an NPC in Rhata Harbour needs your help finding a sentimental object of hers, which is a hairpin.
You can find the hairpin on the left side of an ancient tower on the ground in Fallow Steppe. For a more detailed guide on this quest and how to find the hairpin, keep reading till the end!
Quest Walkthrough
To activate this quest, you’ll need to find Nikoko, the town beauty NPC in Rhata Harbor.
Upon speaking to her, she reveals to you that she might have gotten distracted and lost a precious hairpin in Fallow Steppe. She’ll task you with searching for her hairpin for her and returning it back to her.
Go over to the side quests menu and turn on hints for this specific quest. This way, the map will highlight an area where the hairpin is hidden.
Travel to this part of the Fallow Steppe shown on the map above and try standing at the entrance of the ancient tower. When you’re facing the entrance, you’ll need to go left from there.
In the open ground, you’ll see an object highlighted in red. When you interact with it, you’ll learn that the object is Nikoko’s hairpin!
Take the hairpin back to Nikoko in Rhata Harbour and she’ll reward you with a Luck Sigil.
She’ll also tell you this hairpin meant more to her because it’s the only memory she has of he mother, which makes, what players assumed to be a meaningless hairpin, more meaningful and worth the trouble.
