In Anime Vanguards, there are actually some secret units that you can use that are not shown by the game. These units are even better than the highest rarity which is Mythic. However, getting them in the game is just as difficult.
Want to get your hands on these secret units? In this guide, we’ll show you the best method for getting each of the secret units. Without further delay, let’s dive in!
Best Method To Get Secrets Guide
There are currently only two secret units in Anime Vanguard that you can get. The method for each unit is different, but will depend a lot on your luck.
There two units are:
- Alucard
- Igris.
They are extremely powerful and easily the best units you can get. Let’s see how you can get your hands on them.
Alucard
Getting Alucard in Anime Vanguards is a lot of hassle. The only way to get him is by rolling summons at the Summons area.
The game will not show that he’s obtainable there but he has an extremely low chance of dropping. According to some players, the odds are 1 in 25000, which is incredibly low. So, you’ll effectively need to keep rolling until you get him by sheer luck.
When you do unlock him, there will be a special animation for getting him.
You can also increase your chances by using a Super Lucky or Ultra Lucky Potion at the Summon store. But as of now, you can only purchase these using Robux.
In general, you’ll need to get your hands on a lot of gems, as summons cost gems. You can reduce the cost of Summons using the VIP Pass, but that will also cost Robux.

But in general, here are some of the methods you can use to get gems fast:
- Complete daily and weekly quests
- Claiming rewards from the Collection, Level Milestones and Enemy Index NPCs
- Redeeming codes
- Claiming daily login rewards
- Completing and gaining achievements.
So, you’ll need to keep grinding gems and keep rolling until you get Alucard. But be warned, it took some players around 1M Gems, even with the VIP pass!
Igris
The second secret unit in Anime Vanguards is Igris. To unlock him, you’ll need to progress through the story mode in the play area until you unlock legend stages. After that, reach the final act of the final legend stage.
By beating this stage, you have a 0.75% chance to get Igris. Really low odds but certainly better than the ones for Alucard. You can also do these stages with whatever units you have.
However, we recommend that you use at least a few Mythic units for this stage. In general, here are the units we recommend when you try to go for this stage:
- Song Jin Woo
- Does an insane amount of damage that is further boosted by his passives
- Can also help break down shield enemies
- Sprintwagon
- While he is an epic, he is the only money generating farm in the game
- You’ll need him to help upgrade your other units
- Obito
- His damage output and AoE capability make him a really good damage dealer.
For the fourth unit, you can really go for whatever other damage unit you like. Alongside that, we also recommend having the ideal Traits for each unit to get the most out of them.

Once you’re ready for the fight, let’s go through some tips that will help you beat this stage. Starting off, you want to place down your Sprintwagon so that you can start generating money immediately.
After that, you want to place down Song Jin Woo, in an area where he can do maximum damage. As you can see in the image, placing him there allows him to attack enemies on two paths.
Make sure to place down all the units you have for him.
This setup will allow you to comfortably beat the enemies until Wave 9. So, till then, we recommend just upgrading your Sprintwagons.
After Wave 9, you should start placing down your Obitos, ideally as close to the enemy spawn. Place all of them down but to space them out so that you can avoid getting all of them stunned.
Be sure to focus on upgrading all the Obitos so that you can maximize their damage. Also, do not place your fourth unit yet as you’ll need them for what’s coming next.
By wave 14, the statues in the room will start to come to life. You’ll need to kill these statues otherwise the boss will be invincible.
This is where you start placing your fourth unit in front of the statues. Make sure they have a high DPS so that you can kill all of them by the time the boss spawns at Wave 15.
When the boss does spawn, make sure to have your Obitos fully maxed out. If you have some extra money left, then use that to upgrade your Song Jin Woo.
This will allow you to defeat the boss pretty easily since the damage output of Obito and Song Jin Woo is just insane.
After you defeat the boss, the stage will be over. However, this will not guarantee that you get Igris as he only has a 0.75% chance to drop.
So, you’ll need to keep retrying this stage until he finally drops. To make the stage faster, you can use your rewards to Evolve your units to make them even stronger.
