For this guide, I’m going to show you how to master the curve shot in Vision, as many players are reported to have been struggling with it. I know it can be frustrating when your shot doesn’t go where you expect, so let’s break it down step-by-step.
How To Use A Curved Shot
To start, I like to position myself right at the box or slightly outside at an angle when using a curve shot. The key to mastering the Curved Shot technique is using shift lock effectively. This allows you to control the curve of your shot more accurately.
Here’s how it works: the direction you turn while locked will determine the curve of the shot. If you turn to the left, for example, the arrow will curve that way, sending the ball towards the goal in a nice arc. It’s a straightforward mechanic, but it requires practice to get the timing and angles right.
Key Tips for Successfully Pulling a Curved Shot
- Power and Control: The strength of your curve shot relies on both power and control. For optimal results, aim for at least 11 in both stats. This is especially important for my build, which is designed specifically for curve shots, allowing me to shoot one every 60 seconds.
- Know Your Angles: Many players underestimate the importance of angles. It’s not just about standing in front of the box; understanding your shooting angles is crucial. While I’ve practiced enough to make shots from various positions, I recommend you learn your angles. For instance, shooting from the corner can provide a better trajectory for your curve shot.
- Aiming Higher: When shooting, make sure to aim higher than you might think; otherwise, you might end up getting blocked. Positioning the ball near the edge of the goal can help you get the perfect arc.
Utilizing Flow with Curved Shots
Now, let’s talk about the flow mechanic. Activating flow allows you to unleash a powerful curve shot. With flow, I like to angle my shot, activate it, and let it fly. It’s a game-changer for those looking to maximize their scoring potential.
Another cool technique is what I call “Insta Shooting.” When your energy bar is full, you can quickly release a shot with flow. Just pop your flow as soon as your bar reaches its peak, and then shoot!
Remember, mastering the curve shot in Vision is all about understanding your angles and visualizing where the ball will go. Always use shift lock to maintain control, and with practice, you’ll be curving shots like a pro in no time!
