Fisch: All Enchants Guide (How To Enchant)

Do you want to take your Fisch-ing to the next level? It’s about time you learn about Enchants!

In Fisch, you can get Enchants for your rod to get certain buffs and effects, which can improve your gameplay a lot. In this guide, I’ll break down everything you need to know about enchanting—starting with the basics and then diving into each enchant’s strengths and weaknesses. After reading my guide, you’ll be on your way to acquiring an enchant to fit your playstyle and objectives.

All Enchants Guide (How To Enchant)

First things first, I’ll cover the basics. To enchant, you’ll need an Enchant Relic. You can either buy one from Merlin for 11,000 credits, or get lucky and fish one up—though that’s a 1 in 300 chance or a 1 in 500 chance (Either of the two). Unfortunately, there’s no way to increase these odds, so either get lucky or fork over the credits.

Pro tip: You can only enchant at night, so when the sun goes down, head to the Statue of Sovereignty. Pay 400 credits to take the elevator down to the Keeper’s Altar. Once you’re there, pull out your Relic, interact with the altar, and boom—you’re ready to enchant like a pro!

The Enchants Breakdown

  1. Steady
    • Reduces progress loss by 25% when fishing. Useful for those tough fish, like the Colossal Squid, which normally hits you with 70% progress loss—Steady drops that to 45%. Decent for beginners, but nothing special if you have other enchants.
  2. Blessed
    • This one gives you a 2% increase in chances to catch shiny or sparkling fish. Not bad if you’re hunting for rare fish, but don’t expect miracles from it.
  3. Lucky
    • Increases luck by 20%. Sounds good, but honestly, it’s underwhelming because…
  4. Divine
    • This is Lucky on steroids, boosting luck by 45%. This one’s a solid pick, especially for rods like Destiny that already have high luck.
  5. Wormhole
    • Gives you a 45% chance to catch fish from random locations. Great for filling out your Bestiary, but once you’ve got about 60% of it done, it becomes more of an annoyance than anything else.
  6. Mutated
    • Similar to Blessed, but it increases mutation chance by 7%. It’s niche but good if you’re after mutated fish.
  7. Resilient
    • One of the most popular enchants. It reduces the erratic movement of fish during the mini-game, making even hard catches like the Colossal Squid feel easy. This enchant is a must-have for smoother fishing.
  8. Sea King
    • Increases fish size by 10%. Pair this with rods like King’s Rod or Steady Rod for massive catches. However, on rods with low resilience, it’s pretty useless.
  9. Ghastly
    • Gives your catches a 20% chance to be translucent, increasing their value by 1.3x. Great for making more money off your fish.
  10. Unbreakable
    • Increases your rod’s max weight limit by 10,000 kg. It’s helpful for lower-tier rods, but once you’ve got a decent rod, this enchant becomes unnecessary.
  11. Controlled
    • Enlarges the progress bar in the mini-game by 4.15%, making catching fish easier. That said, it’s not that useful for difficult fish like the Colossal Squid, where Resilient is a better option.
  12. Storming
    • Boosts your luck by 95% during rain. Pair it with a Tempest Totem to summon rain and maximize your luck. For casual players without a bunch of Tempest Totems lying around, this enchant isn’t game-changing, but for big events, it’s a strong pick.
  13. Breezed
    • Like Storming, but gives 65% luck during wind. Again, pair it with Windset Totems. It’s a decent option but overshadowed by Storming.
  14. Insight
    • Boosts XP gain from catches by 1.5x. Great for leveling, but pretty useless once you’re at higher levels.
  15. Scrapper
    • Gives you a 60% chance to not use bait. It’s good if you’re burning through bait fast with rods like Rapid Rod, but otherwise, it’s pretty niche.
  16. Swift
    • Reduces lure time by 30%, meaning the time between rod shakes and the moment you get a fish on your hook is significantly reduced. This makes it a great fit for the Rapid Rod, which already has high lure speed—making it even faster and quite overpowered.
    • It also pairs well with the Magnet Rod, especially if you’re aiming to haul in more crates. Combine it with Rapid Catchers, and you’ll be raking in rewards even faster.
    • However, for most standard rods, Swift is pretty underwhelming. The lure time reduction isn’t as essential, and other enchants generally provide more impactful benefits.

And that’s a wrap! Now you’ve got all the info you need to master enchants and make the most of your Fisch-ing experience. Whether you’re aiming to boost your luck, reel in massive catches, or just make your fishing mini-games easier, choosing the right enchants can make all the difference in the game.
