The Genshin Impact 5.2 update features Peculiar Monetoo puzzles that you can solve to unlock treasures. You can also use these hues in the Masters of the Night Wind area to paint rocks. However, there is a particular puzzle near this area that can be a bit confusing to solve.

Hued Monetoo Master of the Night-Wind Precious Chests Locations
In this guide, we’ll be looking at a particular precious chest that can be found in the Masters of the Night Wind. However, this chest will be inaccessible as you’ll need to solve a puzzle related to the Hued Monetoos.
So, let’s see what steps you need to follow!
Hued Monetoo Precious Chest Location
Starting off, you’ll need to head to the right location for the Hued Monetoo precious chest in Genshin Impact. For this one, you’ll be heading to an area north of Master of the Night Wind.
This is where some rivers meet each other near a waterfall.
You can find a chest next to a wall ready to be painted. However, the chest will be locked and there will be no Hued Monetoos in sight. You’ll need to solve the puzzle to be able to bring all of them.
Liberate Yellow And Green Hues
First, we’ll look at how you can get the yellow and green hues for the precious chest puzzle. Start by making your way to the nearby waterfall. When you’re walking there, you should notice some enemies. These enemies will have the yellow and green hues trapped.
So, you’ll need to defeat them. Doing so will free the yellow and green hues, and they will automatically go to the painting wall.
Free Purple And Blue Hues
Next, make your way to the chest and look towards the river nearby. You should see a rainbow colored inflatable ring in the water. However, before you can interact with it, you’ll need to transform into an Iktomisaurus.
Do to this, head away from the chest and towards the Master of the Night Wind area. Eventually, you should see the marker that will allow you to transform on top of a pillar.
Transform into the Iktomisaurus and then return back to the inflatable ring.
After that, aim with the Iktomisaurus ability next to the ring. You will be able to interact with it and destroy the ring. The purple and blue hues will be freed from underneath.
Interact with them and they will also automatically return to the painting wall.
Free Red, Yellow, Green and Orange Hues
For the final Hued Monetoos, you’ll need to make your way to the giant square boulder or box you see near the precious chest. As before, you will need to transform into an Iktomisaurus.
After you do so, look for the blue graffiti right behind the square boulder. Once you spot it, use the creature’s ability to interact with it to absorb it.
Next, aim the ability at the top of the boulder, where you should be able to see a node. Use the ability there and a rope will attach to the boulder. This rope will pull the boulder up, freeing the remaining hued Monetoos.
Now you can return to the painting wall to complete the puzzle.
Paint The Wall
The precious chest will still be locked at this point. This is because you will need to solve the puzzle by standing in between the Hued Monetoos that have formed a circle.
When you do so, you will get the objective of painting the wall. Here, transform back into your character. After that, aim at the wall and start firing the different Hued Monetoos as the wall.
Once you’ve fired all the Hued Monetoos and created your masterpiece, the objective will be completed. This will conclude the puzzle and you will now be able to loot the precious chest that was locked before!
