Ready to snag that Luxurious Chest in Ochkanatlan’s Nursery of Nightmares of Genshin Impact? This isn’t just a treasure hunt—it’s an adventure packed with lots of tricky puzzles, glowing and critters playing hide-and-seek. But don’t worry, I’ve got your back!
You’ll start your journey in the Tezcatepetonco Range, collecting Precious Chests and unlocking portals along the way. From guiding adorable Monetoo to using the Iktomisaurus transformation to solve puzzles, this guide will make sure you don’t miss the Luxurious Chest!
Ochkanatlan Nursery of Nightmares Luxurious Chest Location
Before reaching the Nursery of Nightmares and eventually getting the Luxurious Chest, you must first get access. To do that, you’ll have to make your way across the Tezcatepetonco Range—don’t worry, you’ll also get Precious Chests along the way, and I’ll make sure you don’t get lost with my guide.
#1. Lead the Three Nearby Monetoo to Their Spot
- Think of it as a game of hide-and-seek with cute, glowing critters. Spot the three Monetoo nearby, guide them to their designated spots, and unlock the chest.
Doing so, will unlock the first portal, you’ll also come across another puzzle which leads to the second portal and a precious chest.
2. Beat The Lazers Puzzle
Afterward, you can acquire another precious chest by going through the portal you’ve unlocked by following the first objective. Progress through the lazers puzzle, and you’ll get the chest at the end, as well as another portal required for the Luxurious Chest.
#3. Fight the Portal Boss
- Find the portal outside (refer to the image below). Step through, and you’ll be in a mysterious area.
- Inside, face off against a small boss. Bring Pyro characters—the boss has an annoying Ice barrier you’ll need to melt.
- Pro Tip: Use an Ororon or Iktomisaurus to spawn friendly NPCs or explosive bombs for some extra damage.
The fight is inspired by a Local Legends but much weaker. The enemy drops some nice rewards once defeated, and you can leave the area using the same portal you entered.
After collecting all these treasures, you’ll gain access to an elevator leading to the Nursery of Nightmares. Use the nearby Iktomisaurus transformation to reach the elevator, and then use it.
The moment you step into the first room, you’ll spot the Luxurious Chest casually chilling there, waiting for you. (It’s almost like it knew you were coming!)
