Banner Guide
The game had divided banners into two categories. One type is the permanent banners and the other is the limited-time ones.
As the name suggests, the permanent banners are here to stay. This means, we should shift our focus on acquiring one of the limited banners first. Currently, Infinity Nikki offers two temporary banners which are Blooming Fantasy and Butterfly Dream.
Next, you’ll need to decide which of these two banners are you more interested in getting. Take a good look at the outfits shown in each banner and choose the ones that look more appealing to you and the ones you prefer getting.
Blooming Fantasy offers Blooming Dreams and Moment Capturer outfits.
While the Butterfly Dream banner offers Flutter Storm and Flowing Colors outfits.
To help make your pick, head over to details which gives you some information on the outfit pieces you will potentially get from this banner.
Here, you’ll discover all the different types of outfit and items that you may end up getting alongside information on probability.
We’ll also cover everything in the probability tab to help increase the chances of you getting the banner you want!
Currency
Just as there are temporary and permanent banners, there’s also a specific currency for each banner type. To get permanent banners, you’ll need to use the blue currency and the pink one is for the temporary.
The pink currency is more harder to obtain since the banners are much more exclusive and players typically end up spending real money on them to buy the pink currency faster. Keeping in mind that this also uses a Gacha system, the game encourages players to spend real money on stuff like banners despite the game being absolutely free to play.
If you wish to participate in the Gacha system, you might see yourself spending some money to acquire the currency and obtain banners faster.
Pulling Explained
You have the options to either do a single summon where you summon one by one or a 10 pull where you buy 10 summons in bulk and use them all at once. Spending 10 crystals on a 10-pull will allow you to summon 10 clothing pieces.
The message in the middle of the screen states that every 10 resonances guarantee a 4-star or higher piece but that does not mean you need to spend the 10 pull specifically. It just means you’re guaranteed to get a 4 or more starred outfit within the first 10 summons.
Now, before you start pulling on the banner you want, first go over to your “Ocean’s Blessings” tab.
Over here, look at all the items you may get in this banner and even hover over some to see their descriptions. Once you’re certain about which item you want, click on it.
You can’t change the item you used your Ocean’s Blessing on so pick wisely and make sure you’re certain before you click on it. What Ocean Blessings does is within five of the 5-star pulls, you are guaranteed to get that specific item.
To elaborate further, whenever you do a summon, you have a chance of getting a 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star. So, within the first 5 chances of obtaining the 5-star item, you are guaranteed to receive this item. The Ocean’s Blessings essentially provides a safety net to ensure you get that specific 5-star item if you happen to get a 5-star at all.
Deep Echoes
Next, let’s learn some more about the Deep Echoes option that you’ll find just above Ocean’s Blessing. In the Deep Echoes, you get some rewards every time you hit a milestone on the Deep Echoes line.
You receive a gift every time you hit 20 draws, 40 draws, and so on and so forth. This feature tends to entice players to make more pulls. Hitting each pull milestone actually ascends your outfit and this encourages players to keep climbing to the highest number of pulls.
That said, it is essential that you know if you really want the banner you’re investing in and if it’s worth all the effort. Once the time runs out for the current banner, new ones will take its place.
You can always end up saving your resonite or revelation crystals to do a major pull on an outfit or character that’s the most exciting to you. Remember that if you have a diamond, we recommend you always spend your diamond to buy revelation crystals and not resonite crystals.
For a refresher, the pink “revelation crystals” are used to buy temporary banners. Furthermore, you can buy Stellarite with real money, convert it into Diamonds, and convert those Diamonds into resonite or revelation crystals.
Duplicates
After you make your pulls, there’s a chance you’ll end up with a duplicate. Whenever you end up with a duplicate, you get additional rewards.
- For a 5-star duplicate, you get 10 Surging Ebbs
- For a 4-star duplicate, you get 4 Surging Ebbs
- For a 3-star duplicate, you get 10 Tranquility Droplets
Surging Ebbs and Tranquility Droplets
You can use your Surging Ebbs to buy revelation crystals. For every 20 Surging Ebbs, you can obtain one revelation crystal which is not the best rate considering you have to obtain a 5-star duplicate to get only 10 Surging Ebbs in the first place. This means you’ll need to get a 5-star outfit duplicate twice to get a single crystal or 1 temporary banner pull.
Similarly, you can also use these on Permanent Banners. The items can also be used to purchase some other stuff that may help you in boss fights or generally items useful on your journey.
With your Tranquility droplets, you’ll need 200 of them for a single crystal. But you’ll encounter a monthly limit of 5 crystals to be bought by your Surging Ebbs and Tranquility Droplets.
If you look at the items, many of them might have limits too but some items on these lists you can easily farm. Lastly, if you end up getting duplicates of every item on an outfit, you get to evolve the outfit into a much prettier version! Evolution does not change the stats of the outfit, just the way it looks.
And that covers all you need to know in terms of summoning efficiently in Infinity Nikki! You can let us know in the comments what banner from the limited-time ones is your favorite.
