The Pal Expedition Station is a new building that was added to Palworld with the Feybreak update.

Using the Pal Expedition Station lets you send out your Pals on Expeditions. They’ll gather loads of useful resources for you while you’re busy exploring the new Feybreak island or doing anything else you want. Plus, it’s a good way to put the hundreds of Pals in your Palbox to work!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything there is to know about the Pal Expedition Station in Palworld: Feybreak.

Pal Expedition Station Guide | Palworld: Feybreak Update

The earliest you can get the Pal Expedition Station in Palworld: Feybreak is at Level 15. After all, it’s a Level 15 Technology! It only costs 2 Technology Points to unlock. You’ll need 20 Wood, 20 Stone, and 5 Paldium Fragments to build it. All three of them are extremely common materials at every point in the game, so you most likely have more than enough of them at Level 15.

The main thing to note about its construction, though, is that it’s absolutely massive. Surprisingly, the Pal Expedition Station can easily take up most of your base’s space on its own! So, we recommend building a floor just for it or placing it on a secondary base.

When you’ve managed to deal with the logistics of placing the gigantic Pal Expedition Station somewhere in your base, approach it and interact with the cave entrance on it.

Doing so will bring up the menu showing you all of the Expeditions you can dispatch your Pals to. More expeditions unlock as you defeat the main bosses in the Towers spread across the Palapagos Islands.

However, note that some Expeditions might remain locked if you already defeated their respective Tower bosses on a previous version. If that happens to you, you just need to defeat them again after the Feybreak update. It can be pretty annoying depending on how tough the bosses are for you, but it’s just a temporary inconvenience.

Starting an Expedition

To start an Expedition, select it. Pay attention to the information and requisites on the right side of the screen. This tells you how long an Expedition might take, the recommended total Pal Firepower, and if there are any specific Pal Type requirements. You can also see a list of all the potential Rewards you get from it.

Once you’ve selected the Expedition, you can select up to 100 Pals to dispatch. The main thing to keep in mind is that each Pal you assign has a different firepower. This firepower gets summed together with all the other Pals in the Expedition. Meet the minimum Recommended Firepower of the Expedition to get a 100% guarantee of successfully obtaining rewards!

Additionally, adding Pals past the Recommended Firepower will also reduce the time the Expedition takes to complete. This can bring the extremely long 30-minute timers down to 5 minutes or even less, for example!

Do note that some Expeditions might have Type requirements, as we mentioned previously. Because of that, you’ll need to assign a set number of Pals of the required type. For example, you might need to dispatch 20 Fire Types together. You can’t start the Expedition unless you meet this quota.

Each Pal’s firepower seems to be based on their stats and level. Increasing their Rank by using the Pal Essence Condenser also seems to boost it. If you’re struggling to meet the firepower requirements, try leveling up your low-level Pals or capturing high-level Alpha Pals.

Lastly, you can click on Auto-Assign if you don’t want to pick your Pals manually. It will assign your highest firepower Pals automatically while meeting type requirements.

When you’re all set, click on Start. Then, wait for the Expedition to finish and return to the Pal Expedition Station to claim your rewards!
