Animals were man’s best friends during these trying times, especially cows and chickens. They provide food for when a family is hungry, or they serve as a way to earn a living by selling their produce. Farm animals were considered valuable to poor villagers, as they had no way to earn a living without them. In Farthest Frontier, you can earn a lot if you have animals in your barn, but getting them is a bit tricky. Luckily, we have a guide here ready for you to get animals for your barn.
How To Get Animals For The Barn – Farthest Frontier
Getting animals, like a cow, is actually very simple. You just need to buy it from the Trading Post when it’s available. Yes, you cannot get animals in any other way, which is a very weird gameplay mechanic. But still, it’s the only way to do so.
For example, when the trader is in the village, you have to check if the trader actually has one. If you don’t see a little cow icon for example, then you have to wait for the next trader to come in. However, if you do see a cow icon, then get ready to have a heart attack because cows are stupidly expensive in Farthest Frontier.
They cost over 600 Gold, and you only get one. Yes, they’re that expensive. But it’s a really good investment, as cows and other animals are great sources of food and other produces. Just be sure to have as many Gold as you can by the time a trader with a cow available will stop by.
