Early on, the rats will come for you, and trust me, they are relentless. Your cities have automatic arrow attacks to help fend them off, but you’ll still need to be proactive.
As you progress, your goal is to make life easier. The game lets you build a Library, which unlocks Farm Workers that will slap the Farms for you.
