Rune Slayer on Roblox allows players to come up with a variety of builds – especially due to the immense options when it comes to classes, races and so on. This includes the assassin build, which really isn’t the most powerful of classes when you look at it. If you’re still trying to make the assassin build viable in the game, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll be going over a version of the assassin build that can be used to deal crazy damage – with everything we have available so far. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

Best Assassin Build Guide

We’ll be taking a look at the armor, weapons, abilities, tools and more than you can use to maximize damage for the assassin build in Rune Slayer.

Armor & Weapons

For the assassin build, we’ll be using the following armor:

  • Elder Mask
  • Elder Chest
  • Rat Cape
  • Elder Boots.

You can definitely try out other armor options – or add agility runes to the current ones. This will allow you to increase the chances of crit – further boosting the damage with the weapons.

Additionally, here are the rings that you’ll want to use for the assassin build:

  • Vampiric Ring
  • Focus Ring
  • Ring of Second Eye
  • Primordial Ring.

While not strictly necessary, we recommend using additional tools that can help you pump out even more damage. We’ll be using the following:

  • Ruby Lantern
  • Slime Bag.

Finally, for the weapons, we’ll be dual wielding the Ragnarok daggers. By dual wielding them, you’ll be able to trigger the Critical Hits more, leading to much more damage overall. This does make it more luck based though.

Try to increase your agility as much as possible so that the crits trigger a lot more.

On top of that, these daggers are already some of the best ones available in the game, even with the new update. The only problem is actually getting the daggers – as they are a rare drop from Crocodiles, Serpents and Basilisks.

We also had new weapons, including the Sanguine Dagger that may be viable because of it’s bleed effect. You can check out our all sanguine weapons guide to see how to get them all.

Abilities

For the abilities, we’ll be using the following ones with this Assassin build:

  • Rapid Battle Aura
    • Increases agility to help boost crit rate even more
  • Backstab
    • Ideally used when enemies are stunned for the best damage
  • Shadow Step
    • Use it to ambush enemies from far away
  • Gouge
    • Does a lot of damage and also stuns opponents
  • Shuriken Barrage
    • Use it to extend combos from mid range
  • Piercing Thrust
    • Using this move successfully increases your chances of crits landing
  • Ambush
    • You can use it to initiate fights
  • Dagger Mastery
  • Momentum Builder
  • Greater Initiative
  • Focus Training III
  • Dual Weapons
  • Deathmark

This combination of abilities is probably the best one you can get with the assassin – especially for PvP encounters. Unfortunately, you might still have a tough time with this since many other classes are much superior.

However, this assassin build will feel much better for PvE encounters – since you can pull off combos much more easily against NPC enemies.

We recommend that you avoid using Veil even if it is one of the more unique abilities for the Assassin. This is because it makes things dark with the lantern helping in no way. As a result, the move will make it difficult for you to navigate when fighting enemies.

Assassin abilities Rune Slayer

That’s everything you need to know for the best assassin build in Rune Slayer. Unfortunately, even the best assassin build may not be the best for PvP encounters – purely because the other classes are simply better. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get a buff for the Assassin class that will make the abilities much more viable!
