The new update 5.5 on Genshin Impact adds new Local Legends that you can hunt in the Atocpan region. One such local legend is Reji, who is a hidden boss that can pose a challenge. If you’re having trouble locating or beating her, we have you covered! In this guide, we will show you where you can find her and how she can be defeated to beat the Night’s Trial. With that said, let’s get into it!
Local Legend: Reji 2 Guide
Starting off, you will need to locate Reji in the Atocpan region. To do this, head to the location shown southeast on the Atocpan map.
The nearest waypoint can be found at the Remnants of Tetenanco if you want to teleport here.

When you arrive here, you should find a Nightsoul Totem poking out of the ground near the shore. Interact with it to enter Reji’s arena.

How To Beat Reji
When you enter Reji’s arena, it will start the Night’s Trial. Reji is a hidden boss that will attack you with melee attacks followed by constant projectiles.
However, you will get a Shield during the trial that you can use to deflect the projectiles back at her.
She will start off with a string of melee attacks. We recommend keeping at a distance and dodging her attacks. When she stops her melee combo, she will plant her Staff in the ground. At this point, she will start firing five projectiles in a fan-like shape.
If you have the Shield, you can easily tank these hits and cause the projectiles to reflect back at her. Being close to her for this part will allow you to be accurate. Otherwise, keep your distance so you can dodge the projectiles.
When you don’t have the Shield, make sure to use openings to damage her. You can also use characters with ranged attacks to chip away at her health from distance. Having a healer on your team will also help in case you get damaged when you don’t have the shield.
Using this strategy, you can eventually defeat her and complete the challenge!

That’s everything you need to know for locating and beating Reji in Genshin Impact. There are plenty of other local legends to fight in the Atocpan region. Each of them has a unique trial to offer. We’ll be covering those guides too and you can check them in the ones listed below!
