Fans of Fisch rejoice as now you’ll be able to play DIG on Roblox for free, since the game has come out of its early access period. While it does not have the same amount of content, there is still a lot to do. As you progress through the game, you can even start putting enchantments on your Shovels to boost a specific stat or ability. But you’ll need to get Enchantment Tomes – which are unfortunately, quite rare with a low drop chance. Not to worry, however – we have you covered! In this guide, we’ll show you a method that allows you to get enchantment tomes fast. Without further delay, let’s dive in!

How to Get Enchantment Tomes Fast

Enchantment can be used to enchant a particular stat or ability on a player’s Shovel. You can find the altar for enchanting by going to the Azure Hollow found within Cinder Cavern. However, you’ll need to use Enchantment Tomes at the altar.

There are multiple ways to get Enchantment Tomes (such as purchasing from the Wizard), but we’ll only be focusing on the fastest one. You can check out our shovel progression guide where we discuss enchantment strategies.

Purchase Magnet Shovel

Starting off, for this method, you’ll need to get your hands on the Magnet Shovel. To do this, you’ll need to head to the right location. Start by going to the location shown on the map which indicates the entrance to Cinder Cavern.

So, make your way there.

After you arrive at Cinder Cavern, talk to Jim Diamond and pay him $1k to travel down to Layer One. When you do so, you will need to wait 1:45 minutes before the elevator activates. Be sure to be inside before the time expires or you’ll be left behind that.

Once you arrive at Layer One, you’ll find an NPC with a stall selling the Magnet Shovel. Be sure to purchase it but keep in mind that it will cost you $10,000.

The Magnet Shovel is by far the best Shovel if you want to get Enchantment Tomes specifically. We’ll see why in the next section.

Farming Strategy

The Magnet Shovel may seem like a bad purchase because it has -100 Luck. But this is exactly the reason why the Magnet Shovel is so good for getting Enchantment Tomes.

The Magnet Shovel makes it so that you only dig Junk Items. which increases your chances of digging up Loot.

Magnet shovel stats Roblox DIG

There are only three items with the Loot classification in Roblox Dig. These are the following items:

  • Basic Crate
  • Magnet Crate
  • Enchantment Tomes.

So, by using the Magnet Shovel, you only dig up items that have the Loot Classification. This significantly increases your chances of getting the Enchantment Tomes, with the chances being no longer 1/250.

So, you should be able to get an Enchantment Tomes within only 5-10 minutes of digging.

Eventually, you can also consider putting the Abundant enchantment or use a Strength build to make digging with the Magnet Shovel even more efficient. Doing so will make farming enchantment tomes even faster.

You’ll also get access to a bunch of Magnet Crates – which are actually really useful since the Magnets will help you when trying to get other rare items when you’re done with Enchantment Tomes.

Wrap Up

That’s everything you need to know about getting enchantment tomes fast in Roblox Dig. As you can see, this method is not only faster, but also cheaper, than purchasing the enchantment tomes from the Wizard. The problem with the Wizard is that you need to wait for clear summer nights – meaning you’ll need to either wait or use items to change the weather. The Magnet Shovel is not only more efficient, but also allows you to get other useful items during your grind.
