With the Tundra/Beach Expansion event now live in Rune Slayer, I’ve been doing some serious farming, testing every single method I could think of to maximize my event points per hour. From one-shotting slimes to battling giant dragons, I’ve run the numbers so you don’t have to. In this guide, we’ll go over how many points each mob gives, which ones are worth grinding, and where you should be farming if you want to stack Satanic Runes, Angelic Runes, and Rune Carvers fast.
All Mobs Points Amount for Tundra/Beach Expansion
The new update revamped two major new zones—Tundra and Beach, along with a bunch of new mobs and bosses. But more importantly, it brought a new event point system, which you’ll need to farm if you want to roll for limited-time gear and cosmetics like Capes, Runic upgrades, and more.
There’s also a Firework Fairy Buff that claims to give you +25% event points, but I’ll be real, it doesn’t seem to be working properly (or it’s just super underwhelming). I’ve barely noticed a difference in my numbers after hours of testing.
That said, let’s break down every mob’s point value, and then I’ll walk you through my personal farming strategy that’s been netting me thousands of points per session.

Full Mob Points Breakdown
Missing: Mother Spider – Unknown points; likely not implemented in the point system yet.
Top-tier picks: Elder Treant, Whale, Direbear, Iskael. These give massive returns per kill and are the key to efficient event farming.
Mob Tier | Mob Name(s) | Points | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Mobs That Don’t Give Points | Mandrake, Bee & Velor Yth Cavern | 0 | |
Low-Level Mobs | Tutorial Skeleton, Slime, Bee, Deer, Giant Bee, Barracuda | 1 | Fast respawn and easy kills. Decent for pure kill-speed strategies. |
Snow + Mid-Tier Mobs | Snowman, Snow Wolf | 4 | |
Mammoth, Dire Snow Wolf, Magic King, Shark, Cyclops, Wyvern | 5 | Wyvern gives too little for how rare it is. | |
Slime King | 6 | ||
Mid-Bosses | Rat King, Lyanthar, Goblin Champion | 8 | Goblin Champ is great for farming. NOTE: I’ll talk more about him in the Goblin Method below. |
Razor Fang | 10 | ||
Basilisk | 15 | ||
Major Bosses | Goblin King, Lich King, Rune Golem | 20 | |
Yeti | 23 | Best among Tundra mobs. | |
Iskael (Dragon) | 25–30 | Huge value if you can consistently find it. | |
Elder Treant, Whale Boss | 40 | Easy to farm repeatedly. Highly efficient. | |
Direbear | 50 | Highest known value. Great if you can track it down. |

The Goblin Method: Easy Farm, High Consistency
If you’re not high-level or just want a chill, reliable method, Goblin Caves is your go-to:
- 2 points per Goblin
- 8 points per Goblin Champion
I tested this and pulled 66 points in just 5 minutes. That’s around:
- 800 points per hour
- 16 Satanic Runes per hour
- 10 Rune Carvers per hour
Even better: it works from around level 35+, and higher levels might even find it too efficient, you’ll be stuck waiting for spawns after clearing the area too fast.

My Farming Rotation
Here’s how I’ve been optimizing my own runs:
- Main Farm Slot: Set near Iskael spawn (Dragon – 50 pts)
- Alt Slot: Somewhere between Ashenshire Elder Treant and Direbear cave
- Kill rotation:
- Start with Elder Treant (40 pts)
- Run to Direbear (50 pts)
- Clear Goblin King and Lich King while waiting
- At XX:00, swap back to Dragon slot
- I usually get 3 Dragon kills if the run is clean
- Repeat!
This setup gives me a steady stream of bosses on cooldown and keeps my event points climbing fast.

Wrap-Up & Event Shop Tips
Now that you know which mobs are worth your time, here’s the golden rule: Don’t waste time on high-HP mobs with low returns. Bosses are king. Right now, the event shop only has capes, but that might change soon. If you’ve already collected them all, I recommend saving your points. The devs might drop more loot in a future patch, and you’ll want to be ready.
I highly recommend stacking your event points now. We’ve got about two weeks before the event disappears, and chances are, it’s not coming back.
