This is a subquest where you’ll need to find a key and open a gate to get to the Underground Laboratory. Sounds pretty simple right? Well, you’ll be in for a surprise. There will be a whole total of three keys you’ll need to get first, in order to get this last one. Buckle up and let’s see what you’ll need to do to find the key to the underground laboratory.
Find The Key To The Underground Laboratory Guide – Thymesia
You will walk through the only road there is from the beginning of the stage and look for this mini–boss. He will be standing in the wide open area next to the other NPCs around.
You’ll need to kill him in order to get the Key to the Greenhouse of the 2nd floor.
Now just enter through the little garden on the first floor and keep walking straight. You will get to this section here where you’ll have a Beacon right next to you. Take a right as shown in the picture.
Keep following the only road you’ll have now. When you get to the wide-open area you will finally see the gate. Here use the Greenhouse Key that you’ve gotten earlier.
Keep going on the road after the gate. There will be only one road. You will see your first mini-boss here. Take him down in order to get yet another key that you’ll need later on – the Library Elevator Key.
Now just pass the bridge (also seen in the picture above) and use it at the Elevator Gate. Go all the way back to the beacon and way back. You will be looking for this candle to know that you’re going in the right direction.
Once you follow it you’ll get to the Gate Elevator for the Library. You can use the key now. Then once here just follow the main road to the left. Kill this guy to get the key out of him. You will get the Underground Elevator Key this way.
When you get to the stairs don’t take them to go down. Instead, climb up on the ladder on your left.
Now just drop down. This will get you back to the candle as you’ve been before. Basically, you’re going back again. You will go all the way back to the beacon shown in the pictures above. The Underground Laboratory Gate will be just opposite this beacon.
