Fighting bosses is a staple of souls-like games and often times these bosses will defeat you, dozens of times, maybe hundreds for some people. These bosses are designed to beat you to a pulp, to grind your gears and make you mad so that you make more mistakes. Although there will come a time when you learn their movements, memorize their attack patterns, and learn the game mechanics more. Bearly scratching them turns to get them to half health, then you get near to a quarter of their health, and in no time at all you get that one run that ends them. Then New Game+ happens and you do it all over again, but this time, your style on them.
Thymesia has a lot of achievements that you can get from playing the game. Some of these achievements are easy, others require you to just spend time like destroying a thousand barrels, while others might take some skill. In this guide, we’ll be going through the achievement called “Piece of Cake.”
Piece Of Cake Achievement Guide In Thymesia
The Achievement Piece of Cake requires you to defeat a boss without drinking a single potion. That includes your health potion as well as buff potions so don’t get any funny ideas. Usually doing this achievement can be difficult for most players. You’ll have to fight the boss and defeat them with only your skill and your one health bar, and often times your skill might not be enough. Now you can do this the hard way and find a normal boss to do this, but there is also a boss in the game that is much easier to do this achievement with.
There is one boss that is basically an arena of enemies you can ignore and just go to the boss and one-shot them. I’m talking about the God of Fools. This boss requires you to just destroy some large cysts that block your way as you go up the arena until finally you jump onto the boss and kill them. This is the best boss to try this achievement with, and many players have done that.
