Location Where To Start The Lost Child

You will simply have to locate Pardis Dhyai on the map and right next to it, in the little river that is emerging from the ground is where you’ll find the starting location of The Lost Child Quest. Go into the middle of the river and the cutscene will begin.

Look for Iotham

This will be the first subquest of this long quest. You will see a movement next to the river. Simply follow the sound and you’ll need to find Iotham. Once you keep going to the waypoint, you’ll notice that there is a cave that you’ll now need to enter.

To find Iotham you’ll need to enter the cave and go deep into it. As you keep going you’ll notice enemies on your road. A big battle will emerge and you’ll need to defeat the Fatui that will show in front of you.

Once they are down, and they will go pretty fast as they are not very strong, you will continue your search for Iotham. Keep going past the location of where the enemies were and emerge deeper and deeper into the cave.

Clear the Wither Zone

You will see a Withering Zone inside the cave and in the middle of it. You will notice that Iotham will be right next it and possibly have been damaged by them. That is why you’ll need to clear out the entire Withering Zone. Just start a fight with them and start clearing out all the plants one by one.

Once you clear it out you will need to take the small boy – Rana, back to the Village. Now the next step will be to go out of this cave that you’ve been inside for the last section of the quest and go towards the Vimara Village.

Escort Iotham

Take Iotham back to the village. Once you take him back you’ll go through a long cutscene of talking between the NPCs.

Now the next step will be to find Rana again. You will get teleported back to the cave so have no worry about having to walk again. While here you’ll go through a cutscene and then you’ll need to follow the Strange Traces.

Go into these highlighted circles and look for the traces. You will get a yellow trail showing you the road and leading you to where you’ll need to go. Just follow this trail and you’ll be fine.

It will take you over and around the river to finally reveal a hidden destination placed inside the wall. Once you find this location the quest will be finished!

Congratulations on finishing The Lost Child questline. We hope that this guide was of some help and aided you in your journey!
