Vanarana Withering Red Flower Puzzle Guide – Genshin Impact
Teleport to the waypoint in Vissudha Field, Sumeru. This is the closest waypoint to the puzzle, so doing this will save you some time from traveling.
Make your way towards the giant bushes and look for a blue, glowing fairy-like creature near a cave entrance.
Check the map to see where you need to be.
Once you reach the area, you will find the blue glowing creature floating around. It will then go inside the cave, which can follow to get a treasure chest. The creature is not a part of the quest, so you do not need to follow it, but it is a landmark to easily find the entrance to the actual quest itself. Plus, you get to find a chest, which we thought we might as well include.
Following the creature will lead you to an old statue where it will interact with. The statue will then glow blue, which then makes a treasure chest pop up out of thin air. Once you get the chest, you then proceed further inside, following the main path.
Eventually, you will reach a room that has a large tree vine growing across the room. Next to it should be another waypoint. This is the room where the puzzle is located, and where you will find the red flowers.
The red flowers deal a lot of damage, so you have to be careful and dodge their attacks. They attack using homing projectiles, so you have to dodge at the last minute to get it off your back.
However, getting hit will most likely deplete a large chunk of your health, almost 50% of it, so it’s advised to bring a lot of health items and a lot of resurrection items.
To take down these red flowers, you will need to interact with this green glowing tree trunk. Approaching it will present you an option to summon Dendrograna, which you need in order to attack the red plants.
You need to only hit the red plants once, so it’s best to use range characters like Collei for this. Bear in mind that once you can only carry three Dendrogranas, so you will have to interact with the green tree trunk again to get Dendrogranas once you run out.
You also have to use the Dendrogranas to activate this structure, which drains the water where the chest is located in. Once the water is drained, you still have to clear out the red flowers, so you can avoid dodging them. It’s best to take them out instead of letting them be.
Jumping down to the once water-filled area, you will find enemies. Take them out, as they are the last obstacle to your rewards.
Once the enemies are defeated, approach the chest and collect your rewards. After this, you can now say that you have finished the Vanarana red flower puzzle.
