Traveling can be a total pain when playing video games that have an open world that’s far too large. Having a fast travel system definitely helps alleviate that frustration, but some games don’t do fast travel well (looking at you, Red Dead Redemption 2). Thankfully, Genshin Impact’s fast travel does not suffer any downsides. It’s easily accessible on the map, all waypoints are in locations that make sense, and it’s convenient. You do have to put in some effort by activating Teleport Waypoints, but it’s worth the comfort of having the ability to travel from anywhere at any given time. Let’s see where to find all Sumeru City Teleport Waypoints Locations.
All Sumeru City Teleport Waypoints Locations – Genshin Impact
The first Sumeru City Teleport Waypoint can be found next to the local restaurant.
It’s easily visible (because it glows red when deactivated) so you can make your way towards it and turn it on.
The next Teleport Waypoint is located a bit far from the last one.
After activating the first Teleport Waypoint, you’ll want to head to the next one. You can mark it on your map for easy navigation.
The waypoint is on a viewing platform that overlooks Sumeru. You get to have a good view, as well as a new Teleport Waypoint.
The next one is near the Akademiya, which is located at the base of the large tree.
From the Akademiya, you’re going to want to start climbing up until you reach the Razan Garden.
You can climb up the side of the Akademiya building to skip a big portion of the travel, but you can also take the long way there. There’s really no difference.
You can even set the waypoint as your, well, waypoint. It usually helps getting to where you need to, and the Teleport Waypoints, despite being disabled, still show up on the map for you to see.
The last Teleport Waypoint is easily reachable from where you are. Only if you followed this guide.
Make your way up a floor until you see the words Sanctuary of Sursthana pop up on screen. When you do, jump off the side of a platform in the direction of the waypoint. You’re going to have to glide the rest of the way there.
Once you see the waypoint visible on the ground, you’ll have to stop gliding and fall to the ground. Of course, you start gliding again once you’re near the ground to avoid getting your character killed. If you have Xiao unlocked, you can use his attack to plummet straight to the ground faster.
Either way, approach the waypoint once you hit the ground and you will have successfully unlocked all of the Teleport Waypoints in Sumeru City.
