The Guiding Parchment is a quest item that you need to complete in order to get a very cool chest. It is something that is showing you a hidden chest or puzzle or maybe even challenges that you’ll need to complete in order to get that chest.
This is what it looks like and that’s everything that you’ll know. But hold on tight because we will show you everything that you need to know.
First of all, you will need to come over to this highlighted position and find the Fishing Vendor. It is an NPC who is stationed on the shoreline so it is pretty hard to miss. The NPC is Loumelat.
You will need to buy the Sugardew Bait recipe. This will allow you to cook this recipe, but you’ll need to access your inventory and give it a quick read. Now you will be able to cook it.
The next step will be cooking this recipe. You can go to Sumeru City and find the cooking location for this item. You will need to cook a couple of them.
Once you have the Sugardew recipe in your inventory you can go ahead and move towards the Devantaka Mountain.
You will need to come here and go into the middle of it. You will find a couple of lake areas here. Start gliding on top of them and look for this circle that has air bubbles all around it. You will need to come here and place the bait with your fishing rod.
The bait is the Sugardew Bait.
