The Lost Riches quest involves all of the basic things you’ve learned so far in Genshin Impact. It involves fights, treasure hunting and a story to follow, things you’ve been doing for the entire game. What makes this fun though is that not only do you get to go treasure hunting and defeating monsters, but this quest runs for multiple days with each day sending you to a different place. To add to that, you get not one, but three treasure chests out of each place you search! In this guide we’ll show you how to do the Lost Riches Day 1 quest.
Lost Riches Day 1 | Sumeru Guide In Genshin Impact
The easiest way to start the Lost Riches quest is to go to the Events Overview Menu, there you’ll see the Lost Riches quest and you can even see the possible rewards you can get. One of these rewards are Primogems, so this quest benefits anyone who does it! To start the quest just press the “Go to Quest” button and it should give you your first waypoint to go to.
The waypoint will take you to the eastern part of Sumeru city where an NPC named Ulman will be standing next to a pond. Talk to Ulman to proceed to the next part of the quest.
For Day 1, the treasure will be somewhere in the Chatrakam Cave area. So head over there to continue the quest. Once near the area you’ll see a big yellow circle marking where the quest takes place, enter the circle for the next step.
Ulman also gave you a Treasure-seeking Seelie, it’s an item you’ll need to equip. Once equipped you’ll find these floating blue balls that you’ll need to collect. Go ahead and collect them, each set of 3 balls aren’t far away from each other so it’s not that difficult finding them.
Once you’ve collected the 3 blue energy balls, you’ll see your seelie light up. This will mark an area nearby with a blue pilar of light, you’ll need to go there and the Seelie will gather up essence to find where the chest is. Once you’re near the pillar of blue light go interact with it to start the challenge.
“Gather up Essence” means getting essence from defeating and slaughtering your enemies. Once the challenge starts a bunch of enemies will spawn, you’ll need to defeat them and collect the essence they drop. Each essence collected will fill the Seelie Vitality bar and you’ll need to fill it up before the timer ends.
Once the challenge is done and the Seelie Vitality bar is full the seelie will mark where the chest is. The chest is will be under the area marked with a gold light, just go up to it and interact to dig the chest out.
After completing that challenge, go to the center northern part of the circle for your next one. Once you start the challenge this one will be easier than the last. A path of energy balls will appear and all you’ll need to do is collect all of them.
The next treasure area will be the same as the first one in this guide. Defeat the monsters, gather the energy and fill the bar up to collect your third and last treasure chest.
