Aliens: FTE - Astra Burst Rifle Modding Guide

Aliens Fireteam Elite has a lot of different weapons to choose from, you can get machine guns, sub machine guns, machine pistols, shotguns and rifles. Some of these weapons have unique things about them, like guns that have only two shots, semi-automatic rifles or shotguns that can be charged up, as well as burst fire weapons. The Astra Burst Rifle as the name says is a burst fire weapon and it can be a great general rifle to use in Aliens Fireteam Elite and in this guide we’ll show you how to effectively mod it.

Astra Burst Rifle Modding Guide For Aliens: FTE

As the name implies this is a burst rifle, every time you fire it will fire in burst. The thing is you can effectively make this an automatic weapon that you can spray around or a weapon that is great for picking off enemies at range. The 4C2 Astra Auto Rifle feels more like a hybrid between a rifle and a designated marksman rifle with its burst capabilities and amazing damage falloff stats.

The base 4C2 Astra Burst Rifle is already great on its own, but we can make it better! These are some of the great attachments you can add to make this weapon probably the best weapons in the game:

Recoil Booster: It increases the fire rate and the stability making this gun amazing when under overclock.
Tactical Mag or Heavy Spring Loaded Mag: The Tac Mag is for when you don’t have any good recon and need the extra ammo, if you do however then go for the Heavy Loaded Mag for that fire rate bonus.
Hybrid Sight: The Astra has a huge weak point damage bonus and we can add to it by adding the Hybrid Sight as well as some more accuracy for your burst grouping.
