First of all, you will need to get to the map area of Glade of Trust. It is in the bottom left corner of the map and looks like this:

First, you will need to unlock this area to be able to get the HardWood. You will need to get 5000 Dreamlight so you will be able to actually purchase this playable area of the map. You will also need to do a few extra quests to open up this area.

Then while walking this map and this area you can actually find the Hardwood thrown on the ground. You will need to squeeze your eyes in order to find it.

The Hardwood has a slightly different darker and more red color to it. This is how you can make differentiate them.
