When progressing in video games, sometimes you will have to upgrade certain items to continue. As the items you have are currently weak, why not make it stronger since you yourself are now stronger, right? In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can upgrade your equipment to do new things in order to progress through the story and do certain quests, like breaking Blue Rocks on Dazzle Beach. These guys aren’t breakable with the regular pickaxe, so how can you break them? Well in this guide, we will show you just what you need to do.
How To Break The Blue Rocks On Dazzle Beach – Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are two prerequisites you need to do in order to get the upgrade: you need to have Maui as a villager, and you need to have him at Friendship Level 5. Once at Friendship Level 5, he will give you a quest called A Tale of Stone and Fire, which is basically him asking you to make him a 5 Star meal called Granite Fire Bowl. The ingredients are:
- 20 Sand
- 25 Stone
- 10 Coal Ore
- 3 Red Falling Penstemon
Once you have all ingredients, craft the Granite Fire Bowl and speak to Maui, who will then upgrade your pickaxe to destroy the blue rocks.
