In Disney Dreamlight Valley, taking quests from characters is what you will be doing most of the time. While the game is in Early Access, there is still content coming in to diversify the gameplay a bit. But for now, what you will be doing most of the time is doing quests and trying to raise Friendship Levels with all of the characters currently available. Right now, we have a good number of characters, but Disney has plans to add more with cool quests. Like The Curse quest by Mother Gothel, Rapunzel’s kidnapper in the Tangled movie.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – The Curse Quest Guide
The quest starts when you speak to Merlin about a large, cursed tree in the middle of the Glade of Trust. He asks you to investigate the area with him to see what is happening. Once you reach the area, you will see the large tree in the middle, looking rather ominous. Enter the tree and you will find Mother Gothel.
After speaking to Mother Gothel, you will then be asked to find Merlin, who is speaking to Ursula. Instead of approaching them and speaking to Merlin, you will have to listen to them talk (more like read, as the speech bubbles will inform you of what happens while they talk). Once they’re done speaking, talk to both of them to continue the quest.
After speaking to them, you will then be asked to collect Night Shards and Dream Shards, as well as speaking to Kristoff and asking him to help you with the spell. Once you have completed all of the requirements, head to Ursula’s cave and speak to her.
Give Ursula the Night Shards and Dream Shards. Ursula and Merlin will then perform a spell that will send you to another dimension within the world, turning you into some sort of spirit. Sort of like Astral Projection.
Once you exit the cave, head to the Glade of Trust and head to the shiny ball that’s pulsating light. You originally can’t get this because it’s on a floating island. But now that you are somewhat of a spirit, you can float your way towards it.
After returning the Orb of Trust to the Pillar of Trust, go back and talk to Mother Gothel to finish the quest.
