While doing some quotes in Disney Dreamlight Valley you will need to do a couple of tasks one after the other. In this guide, we will be talking about one such quest. It is the Breaking The Ice Quest and we will be showing you where to get all the needed items for the Potion and then How to actually Enter the cave. Let’s get started.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – Breaking The Ice Quest Guide
“Breaking the Ice” is one of the quests you can get from Elsa in Disney Dreamlight Valley after you finish her realm quest and invite her to the village by building a house and making her friendship level go up. In this quest, you need to get five different kinds of resources, which are:
- Garlic
- Sugarcane
- Lemons
- Sunflowers
- Vial of Ocean Water
You will need to go after all of these items separately and try to find each of them. They will be around the map and you will actually need to go across various types of biomes and areas to find them all.
This is part of the quests that Anna will give to you in order to get Elsa to join the Dreamlight Valley.
To find Lemons you will need to head for the area of Glade of Trust. Here you will be able to locate some of the lemon trees and walk up to them. You can pick them up from the trees or simply they will be all over the ground. You will Pick Up them when being close to them.
To find the Vial of Ocean Water you will actually need to head for the Dazzle Beach area and then proceed to look for this location here.
It will be right next to the fast-travel location. It is a hidden item that you’ll need to look at very carefully and closely in order to see it fully. Just walk up next to it and pick it up and you’ll have it in your inventory.
To find Garlic you will need to head to the Forest of Valour. It is the only location where you’ll be actually able to pick it up. Of course, you are able to plant it and then grow it in your field, but first, you will need to locate it here.
It is a small little bush-looking flower that you’re able to pick up. You can actually see the garlic on it when you get very close to them. You will need to be patient because they grow up slowly. So that means that you’ll need to bring a forager with you first.
To get the Sugarcane you will have to go to the Dazzle beach too. Here, also right next to the Vial of Watter, you will spot a little market stall right beside the shoreline. You will need to interact with it to be able to buy some Sugarcane.
They cost a total of 5 coins in order to buy one Sugarcane. After you bought them you will need to of course plant them first. Plant them and water them and watch them grow. After a while, you’ll have 2 in your inventory.
To find Sunflowers you will also want to be in the Dazzle Beach. They are very nearby to the stall too and even there are a couple of them right behind it. These are the locations where they spawn mostly.
You will also want to check out the small island that is on the right. They tend to spawn there too. Very easy to obtain.
Then once you have all of them you will need to craft the Warmth of the Summer Potion. This is the crafting recipe for it.
You can also find it in any crafting station in the game world. Now the next step is to enter the Ice Cavern. Make sure that you enchant your pickaxe first to be able to break through the ice much easier than before.
You will want to equip yourself with the pickaxe and simply smack all of these ice blockades that are on the road.
Then once you get inside there will be plenty more of them too. Simply proceed to break them down and you’ll complete the quest.
