Cyno is probably one of the best looking characters (in my opinion, of course) in Genshin Impact. While Diluc is still number one in my book, Cyno is somewhere in the top 10. I mean, an Egyptian themed character that has purple glowing claws to attack people? That sounds like an Egyptian Sasuke Uchiha. If you are interested in Cyno like I am, then you probably want to build Cyno with the best of the best. But what is the best build for our boy, Cyno? Gilded Dreams? Or Thundering Fury?
Cyno Artifacts Guide – Genshin Impact
Before we start off with what the best Artifacts guide is for Cyno, let’s look at what the sets are, as well as their individual pieces.
- Gilded Dreams
- Dreaming Steelbloom
- Feather of Judgment
- The Sunken Years
- Honeyed Final Feast
- Shadow of the Sand King
- Thundering Fury
- Thunderbird’s Mercy
- Survivor of the Catastrophe
- Hourglass of Thunder
- Omen of Thunderstorm
- Thunder Summoner’s Crown
Now that we have both sets, we have to determine the pros and cons of each sets. If you are going to go for a good build, you naturally need to focus on the pros, rather than the cons.
Thundering Fury is considered to be a more acquired taste, meaning that it’s not exactly for everyone. It does a lot of damage, but the rotation is considered to be extremely difficult, and can take a while to master. But once you do, people actually have fun with the rotation. However, getting the pieces for Thundering Fury will take a while, as they can only be acquired through Artifact Boxes, and they are also hard to get.
Gilded Dreams, on the other hand, can be acquired much more easily. It has several domains where you can farm the pieces, and the rotation is quite easy. However, the con here is that the damage of the Gilded Dreams set is not as large as the Thundering Fury.
So, which one is the best? Personally, I would go for the Gilded Dreams set. While having more damage is good, the grind of having to acquire the set is tough, and not a lot of people have the time to try to open as many Artifact Boxes as they can. Gilded Dreams is easy and player friendly.
But if you are able to finally collect the Thundering Fury set, then you can switch to that. It does more damage, and the rotation, although difficult, is just a learning curve. You can easily learn how to master the rotation and use the Thundering Fury to its full potential.
All in all, it’s up to the personal preference of the player. There are some stats that a player likes and want to increase that some don’t, so it’s natural for players to favor others. At the end of the day, what’s important is that you have fun with the build you want.
