The new update for Genshin Impact has released and it’s filled with so much content! The update brings a new area in the map, the sand-filled desert of Sumeru where you can find all sorts of things. Scattered around the desert ruins that you can find with all sorts of monsters inside to defeat. These ruins also contain puzzles to solve and hazards to look out for. The update also adds a bunch of new characters including some that you can add to your list of playable characters. In this guide we’ll show you how to do the Puzzle in the Dune of Carouses.
The Dune of Carouses Puzzle Guide For Genshin Impact
Before you go do this puzzle, make sure that you finish the Golden Slumber quest first, since you’ll need an item from that quest to use the mechanisms for this puzzle.
In the northern part of the Sumeru desert is the Dune of Carouses where you can find a large pyramid-like structure. When you go inside the structure you’ll see a wind torrent in the middle, and two passages on both sides.
Head to the right side and pick up the blue triangle. You’ll then need to go back to the previous room and drop down the wind torrent and head to the left path.
Following the path, you’ll find a mechanism that you’ll need to rotate twice to get the beam firing at one direction. Then go to where the beam stops and step on the glowing right platform to summon another mechanism. This mechanism when used will remove the wall that the beam is hitting and finally go to where it needs to go.
This will unlock the chest in the room as well as the cube mechanism behind it. Activate that mechanism that will let you go up the stairs. Remember to pick up the blue triangle on the staircase.
Continue up the staircase until you find two glowing blue platforms. Step one of them to activate it and pick the other blue triangle in the room to activate the other.
Activate both items and the entire puzzle for the ruin should be done!
