A new update has just hit Genshin Impact and it adds a ton of stuff the players can play with. The new area called the Sumeru Deserts is filled with so much ruins, so much content and even more sand. The new update adds in new enemies players can fight as well as new adventures in the form of ruins filled with puzzles and hazards. There is also a continuation of the main quest in the update as well as a bunch of side quests the players can partake. In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the puzzles in the new area.
Beam Puzzle On Top Of Mausoleum Of King Deshret In Genshin Impact
In the new Sumeru Desert area is the large structure of the Mausoleum of King Deshret, and on top of this ruined structure is a puzzle. Despite the size of the puzzle the actual puzzle is not that complex and is actually very simple.
On each cardinal direction, except for the west, are mechanisms that shoots a beam, activate them so that they all shoot a beam at the middle. Below these mechanisms are sandglasses that you also need to flip.
On the platform in the middle is another cell that you need to rotate so it hits the pillar to the west.
You’ll then need to activate the platform in the middle so it changes color to blue which will make some of the platforms near the edge of the puzzle stop moving. The now unmoving platforms will block the beams and you’ll need to step on them for them to disappear.
Finally, you’ll need to rotate the cell on the lower center platform to also hit the west side of the puzzle to complete it!
After doing all of this a chest will appear and the puzzle is over!
