Terraria has gotten a brand new difficult that even the strongest of players cannot survive in after a couple of days. It is called the Legendary Mode and in this guide, we will be explaining the biggest changes that it brings. Let’s get started.
Legendary Mode Explained | What Is It? – Terraria 1.4.4
Re-Logic calls this new Zenith world seed “the true Magnum Opus of Terraria World Seeds.” This one is supposed to combine the best parts of every other Terraria world seed and also has a few features and dynamics that are unique to that seed.
It’s also made to be harder than any other seed, so if you create a Zenith world on Master Difficulty, you’ll be playing on a new legendary difficulty.
The biggest changes that you will see in this legendary difficulty are the bosses. Most of them are more or less made much more scary and difficult. You will be feeling as though you are playing The Witcher. You need to prepare well ahead before you take on a boss.
King Slime isn’t really changed that much apart from its massive size that it spawns on right now.
The Eye of Cthulu now will deflect projectiles wherever it will spin. So that means when it is spinning, all the shots that you fire towards it will be shot right back at you. Also, it is much more powerful in the third phase too.
The Eater of Worlds is just plainly much bigger. Whenever you will split it by doing damage, a giant eater of souls will spawn
The Brain of Cthulu will now flip your gravity upside down when you reach the second phase.
The Queen Bee now just dashes at a much faster and deadlier pace. Other than that, she is still the same.
Skeletron will now shoot a lot of projectiles wherever he is spinning. Also, whenever the hands are killed, they will spawn Dark Casters almost non-stop.
Walls of Flesh is much bigger and it has much more and hungrier eyes and mouths that will keep firing in your way. It will also constantly shoot Imps that shoot fireballs.
Mechdusa had the most unique change out of them all. You will be fighting a merged version this time, instead of fighting all of the versions of it separately. Very powerful and scary indeed.
Plantera will spawn lots of vines that will damage you wherever it is going to be attached on.
Golem will be deleting literally any light source that it touches. You will be fighting this battle almost blind because you won’t be able to see a thing. Very strong boss in the legendary mode.
The Empress of Light is more or less the same. You will only have to fight it in the daytime.
The Moon Lord has only gotten one single change. That is that every time it finishes shooting its death ray a bunch of bouncy boulders will explode from its head. It can one-shot you too.
Other than that, this new Zenith mode will make everything much more powerful. The normal Zombie that will be rendered as useless, will now be a very strong enemy for you to look out for.
You will start out in a very difficult seed that literally even cutting trees can drop bombs. Imagine the Legendary difficult as the Expert difficulty, but harder double time!
That’s everything you need to know about Legendary Mode in the new Terraria 1.4.4. We hope that this guide has helped you understand it. Good luck!
