To say that Overwatch 2’s release was rough was an understatement, even at the time of writing many players are still having problems with the game. For some players when they open their Battlenet launchers they’ll see a “Buy Now” button when selecting Overwatch 2 instead of a “Play” button. This doesn’t make sense since Overwatch 2 is now free-to-play so that’s clearly a bug a lot of players are going through. Good thing for you the fix is quite simple and easy and this is how you do it.
Update your Battlenet launcher. It’s just that easy right? All you need to do is either update it through the launcher itself, uninstall it and reinstall a more update launcher from their website or if you don’t have one yet then you probably won’t have this problem to begin with! The launcher can be a bit finicky and we all hate updates but that’s how you fix the bug!
