To start the quest, you need to go to this area where the player icon is.
You will arrive at a camp that is destroyed. Speak to Hierot Birian and he will explain that he took a job from House Mornard, who wanted a mineral survey of the Embervine Caverns. Unfortunately, he was not aware of the Firesong Druids that are opening up fissures. He then asks you help to finish the mineral survey, which you accept and get the quest.
After speaking to Hierot Birian, you can then enter the Embervine Caverns through here.
When inside, you can check your map and find the objectives, as well as where you need to go. You will encounter a ton of enemies inside, all with fire elements, so it’s best to have something to cool them off.
When you make it to the area, you will find the druids standing guard. You will need to take them out. They also deal fire damage, so be careful not to get burned.
After defeating the druids, you can find the crystal and it looks like it might blow up any minute now. Your next objective is to talk to Hierot.
Hierot will then tell you that there are three other crystals when he first came in. Four, including the one floating in front of the both of you. He tells you that he needs them gone, and that smashing them might be a good idea, so your next objective is to smash the druid crystals.
To destroy the crystal, all you need to do is get close enough and press E to destroy it. With one down, you need to find the other three.
Each crystal will be marked on your map with a red circle. This means that you have to find it in the area where it is possibly located.
But not all crystals are going to be huddled up together in one area. You need to find them in different parts of Embervine, but you can easily find where to go next by looking at the symbols on the map where it leads to different areas. If the door icon is white, that means you can find your next objective there.
With the locations of the crystals on your map, you can find them easily and destroy them. Once you have destroyed them, you can leave the Embervine and talk to Hierot.
After leaving Embervine, talk to Hiertot and you will gets rewards for your service, which also completes the quest.
