Who doesn’t love playing the dwarves in Warhammer? They’re like LOTR dwarves but with guns and a fascination for hammers instead of axes, though some of them still use axes.

There’s a lot of different ways you can build the Ironbreaker in the game and most people run with dual hammers, in this guide we’ll show you a build that uses the Cog Hammer.

Weapons

The most common weapon for people to use with the Ironbreaker is the dual hammers, but for this build we’ll be going with the Cog Hammer. The Cog Hammer’s light attack all has the tank attribute as well as a bunch of stagger, a great weapon for clearing hordes.

For the weapon build go for Block Cost reduction and Attack Speed as well as getting Swift Slaying for more attack speed since it can be a bit slow.

For the weapon you can either go for the tried and tested crossbow, or you can spice things up and use the Trollhammer Torpedo.

For the properties you’d want Power vs. Armored and Monsters with Conservative shooter to get some ammo replenishment since the ammo count for this weapon can be a bit low. The Trollhammer Torpedo can also trigger grenade effects so if you have shrapnel, this weapon can trigger it as well.

Talents

The talent tree for this build looks like your standard Ironbreaker build. At level 15 you can either get the Bulwark for that extra stagger damage or Smiter if your team doesn’t have any good stagger. At level 20 you get Gromril Curse which just gets you a bit more CC. All level 30 talents are viable, Oi! Wazzok! Can help your team a lot while Booming Taunt can really make you do more tanking. Drengbarazi Oath is also good for the team to boost the damage.

Congratulations you now know a great Inronbreaker build for Warhammer Vermintide 2, now go out there and try this build out!

Many thanks to Warm Gun Production for showing everyone how to do this build, if you need more information on the subject then go check their video out here: Ironbreaker Build And Guide | Vermintide 2 – YouTube
