How To Evolve Finizen Into Palafin Without Friends In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Pokemon that can evolve under certain conditions have always been a thing since the first Pokemon games. Not all of them are going to evolve just by leveling them up, which is a nice way to add some variety. However, there are some Pokemon that just… needs a little bit of help. If you don’t have friends, then you are probably out of luck in trying to evolve Finizen into Palafin, which needs someone in the host’s party. However, there is a way to get your Finizen to evolve without the need to make your friend buy a Switch.

Bear in mind that this method requires you to have a Discord account, as well as the Discord app ready. This is crucial for the method to work.

Get Finizen to Level 37

Before you start trying to evolve Finizen, you will need to get your Finizen to level 37, as Finizen will evolve once it reaches level 38 if you have someone in your party.

Go to a Union Circle and Form a Group to get the Link Code for Discord

Go to the nearest Union Circle and select the option to Form a Group. Once you have this menu, look at the bottom left for the Link Code. Now, this is where Discord comes in. Since there really is no way to get Finizen to evolve without the help of friends, you will have to go on a Discord group chat and ask randoms to help out. Here is a Discord invitation to a server that can help you out.

Once you’re in the Discord server, go on the #co-op chat and get some help from the people in there. Let them know that you are trying to get your Finizen to evolve to Palafin, and drop the Link Code. Once you have someone to help you, you won’t have to talk to them. Just make sure they are in your group before selecting “Set out together”.

Level up Finizen to Level 38

Now that you have someone with you, all you need to do is level up Finizen to level 38 now. Give Finizen a Rare Candy or Exp. Candy and once it reaches level 38, your Finizen will evolve into a Palafin. Make sure to thank the random stranger who helped you out after you’re done.
