Fishing mini games is a mark of a great game, it’s the law of video games. That’s why even though games like Call of Duty have their advanced fish AI they still can’t be a great game since you can’t fish in them. That of course is a joke but it’s a well known trope in video games that fishing mini games are everywhere and in a horror game like Bendy and the Dark Revival there is some sort of fishing mini game in it instantly making it a great game! In this guide we’ll show you how to catch a fish in the game, and yes it’s part of a quest.
Bendy and the Dark Revival: Find a Gilson: How to Catch the Fish
At one point in the Bendy and the Dark Revival you’ll find this note that will start a quest to find a Gilson, a fish basically. You don’t need context, there is no context or reason to fish, you just fish.
To catch the enemy you need to learn the enemy, so of course you need to go to the Library. There you can find a book near the window called “Fisherman Jeb’s Fish Guide.” There you’ll read about the Gilson and that they actually go into shock when they hear music, what a strange fish. Anyway that’s important!
Now we need to go to the Conservatory and you’ll see a fish tank and a piano. Yeah, we can already see the fish puzzle answer a nautical mile away.
To catch the fish you need to push the Piano into near the fish tank, play some tunes on it and the fish will float up and you can catch it!
There you go, a Gilson, and we didn’t even need to use a fishing rod!
