Exploring the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can come across a lot of random things that both make sense and not make sense. However, there is one weird thing you can find in Paldea, and that is these weird, glowing stakes on the floor. Some of them are glowing yellow, others glow blue, some even glow purple. What Are They For?
These “ominous” stakes can be found all over Paldea, but their main purpose is to open Legendary Shrines that are located somewhere on Paldea. There are four Legendary Shrines all over Paldea, and each shrine contains a Legendary Pokémon.
In order to unlock these shrines, you need to find 8 Ominous Black Stakes that are hidden around the shrine. They are near the shrine, but are scattered, so you will have to look around the area. So since there are a total of four Shrines, you will technically need to collect 32 Ominous Black Stakes to open them all.
