Gacha games have been booming in the west lately with the rise of Genshin Impact. Now more and more games are being introduced to the west as well as some games that have a direct connection to certain animes. Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross is one of them not only because it’s connected to the anime it’s named after but it also has some collaboration events that adds other characters from other animes. In this guide we’ll show what place in the tier list do the new characters introduced in the game in January are!
Seven Deadly Sins Grand Cross Tier List
Seven Deadly Sins has a lot, and I mean A LOT of characters you can get in the game. Despite this, most of the characters in the game aren’t really that good in any high level of play and only a few of them even get to the top tiers. With each new additional character though gets a chance for some synergies with other characters that may change their places in any player’s tier list, let’s see what the new characters introduced this month changes.
The two new characters is Purgatory Meliodas and Knight of Danafor Liz which have their own strengths and weaknesses in the game. Let’s see how they fare in both PVP and PVE.
PVE S – Tier
Purgatory Meliodas – No question asked this character is amazing. His Passive, which is the length of a novel in terms of effects basically boils down to purging of status effects and buffing damage. He really great with Demon allies on the team and his unique has great synergy with them.
PVE D – Tier
Knight of Danafor Liz – On the other hand the other new character is not really that great when in terms of PVE when compared to Meliodas. Liz’ Passive/Unique can be good but it’s not anything outstanding that it turns her to a must have in a team. It can work but it’s not the most optimal pick.
PVP S – Tier
Purgatory Meliodas – Meloidas in terms of PVP is what some may say broken. With the right team compositions he’s up there with Ultimate Escanor and will probably shake the PVP meta for a while.
PVP F – Tier
Knight of Danafor Liz – If you could make this new Liz work in PVE good luck making it work for PVP. A lot of players have already given up on this new character and unless they introduce some sort of buff to her in the near future she’s going to stay at the bottom of the lists.
