Memories of Gurabad – Genshin Impact

With tons of new side quests being added to Genshin Impact after the newest update, it means that it’s time for players to get busy and complete everything the new update has to offer. However, some of these side quests can be a little hard to finish, so that’s why we create guides to help smooth out the experience of finishing quests. For this guide, the main focus will the Memories of Gurabad quest. If you are having troubles with that quest, then you have come to the right place.

Talk to Liloupar in Safhe Shatranj

When you start the quest, your first objective is to talk to Liloupar. You can find her in Safhe Shatranj.

You can find Liloupar in the middle of the area. Approach her and a cutscene will play.

Defeat the Primal Construct

After the cutscene, you will be attacked by enemies as they surround you. Here, you will need to defeat the Primal Construct and other enemies in order to continue. This isn’t a boss fight, so you won’t need to worry too much. 

Investigate the Chess Piece then Trigger It

After defeating all the enemies, you will need to investigate the chess piece, which is has a marker on it. When you interact with it, another cutscene will trigger.

Once the cutscene ends, your objective will tell you to trigger the chess piece shortly after. Jump up on the chess piece and interact with it. Again, a cutscene will play out and the chess piece descends, bringing you along with it.

Obtain Liloupar’s Fragment

After descending with the chess piece, you will have to go forward and defeat Primal Constructs once again. This should be easy to deal with.

Once the enemy has been defeated, your next objective is to collect Liloupar’s fragment, which is right next to where the enemies were. Simply interact with the fragment and a cutscene will play. This will go on for a couple of minutes, and you can select dialogue options here. Once that’s done, the quest will end.
