Puzzles are hard to do. They require a certain level of intelligence from players in order to proceed.
If you can’t solve the puzzle, then you’re not going to be able to proceed. The same goes for those who want to get some extra rewards: if you can’t solve the puzzle, then you’re not getting the reward. In this day and age, we don’t really have the patience to solve puzzles anymore, and that’s not a bad thing. Just means we’re busy.
In this guide, we will be solving the Safhe Shatrank Obelisk Rune Totem puzzle.
Genshin Impact – Safhe Shatranj Underground Weathered Obelisk Rune Totem Puzzle
Obelisk Rune Puzzles
Before you solve anything, you will need to go to this area in the Safhe Shatranj region. There, you will find your Obelisks.
You can find the first set of Obelisks to solve near the entrance (yes, there are other sets of puzzles you will need to solve).
Once there, you will need to hit each individual Obelisk until they turn into the required rune to unlock the totem.
This Obelisk must have this rune inscribed on it.
The next Obelisk must have this rune inscribed on it.
The last Obelisk then needs to have this inscribed on it.
This will automatically unlock the totem, which you then need to change into a Dendro character in order to activate it.
After clearing the first set of Obelisks, head to the next set, which can be found here.
You will need to have all Obelisks with the following runes inscribed on them in order to unlock the totem that’s next to it. Once that’s done, we head to the next puzzle.
The last puzzle isn’t really a puzzle per se. Instead, you will find a totem, all alone and by itself. Odd, but at least that means no more Obelisks.
Well, you will instead fight two of these enemies instead. If you’re powerful enough, they won’t faze you, but those who are extremely unprepared will be smacked around and possibly die faster.
But once you have defeated all enemies, just activate the totem and the chest will appear.
Head to the middle of the area and you will find a lone chest. Don’t worry, it won’t eat you like they do in Dark Souls. Open it and you will get your rewards.
