The Oculus Quest 2 also known as Meta Quest 2 is a virtual reality headset created by Facebook Technologies, a division of Meta. The Quest 2 was officially unveiled on September 16, 2020 during Facebook Connect 7.

So how do you do the update? Click Quick Setup in the leftmost part of the panel. At the top of the quick settings, you will have a settings icon.
Click on it and it will take you to the settings. Then click on the four-square icon that says, Guardian. Next click on the System icon.
Here you will see the Software Upgrade option. If there is a new upgrade you will see it here and you will be able to update the software.
If it lights up in gray, there are no new updates. That’s all you need to do to update Oculus/Meta Quest 2 Headset Software.
Follow the steps carefully and you will be able to do this update, it is quite easy.
