There are some missions in Dead Space Remake that will have you replacing old power cores or cells and then reigniting the fire in the spaceship. This in turn will lead to getting a lot of enemies attracted and coming to kill you. In this guide, we will show you how to Manually Ignite the Engines. Let’s get started.

Manually Ignite Engines – Replace Power Cell – Dead Space

Step 1 – Go Up The Stairs

As the first step of this guide, you will need to be going up the stairs that you see in the picture above. When you get up there, you will have a cube. Pick it up and bring it with you.

Step 2 – Place The Cube Inside This Location

You are going to go down the stairs and then place the Cube inside the appropriate hole in the room shown above. This way you will be replacing the Power Cell and adding a new one.

Step 3 – Kill All The Enemies

A lot of enemies will now spawn and all be coming to kill you. You will need to defeat them all and once you do so, you’ll complete the quest. Congratulations!

Bug Issue

If the enemies do not spawn for you in the Step 3, all that you’ll have to do is simply reload an old save. Try it a couple of times and after a while, you’ll see them coming. It is a glitch currently in the game that hopefully will get fixed in the future. Good luck!

We hope that this guide has helped you out in completing the Manually Ignite Engines in Dead Space. Have fun doing it yourself!
