Collect Candies – SpongeBob SquarePants The Cosmic Shake

Let’s get Mrs. Fluff all the candy she needs!

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake has been a hot topic in the past few days, and for a good reason. We’ve all been enjoying it, but it can get confusing trying to figure out where to go for which objective, with everything that there is to collect as a main but also as a side objective (collectibles for costumes, achievements, etc.).

In this guide, we’re going to go over the path that’ll lead you to all the candies that you’ll need in order to complete this part of the questline, a main objective given to you by Mrs. Fluff.

SpongeBob SquarePants The Cosmic Shake – Collect Candies

The Collecting Candy main objective is essentially a trick-or-treating quest. Your task is to go door-to-door until you’ve collected 5 candies from various NPCs who give you subquests to earn the candy.

The pathing discussed in this guide is my own personal preference, and it isn’t the “one and only” way to do it as the game gives you a lot of freedom with this one.

Candy #1

Assuming that you’re still standing in front of Mrs. Fluff, jump over to the house that should be on your left (Mrs. Fluff’s right-hand side) and knock on the two doors located there.

Personally, I didn’t have any luck here but it’s the closest house so it’s worth a shot.

If you didn’t get any Candy there, head over to the house that’s sort of under and behind Mrs. Fluff’s position as shown in the image below.

Prepare for a combat encounter!

This should prompt the sub-quest “Find Tom’s chocolate” to commence after the gate on your left is lowered.

The chocolate you’re looking for is in the shape of Patrick’s house, but you’ll have to mow through a handful of mobs before you’re able to interact with it.

Return to the quest giver Tom and turn in the chocolate to get your first Candy (1/5).

Candy #2

While you’re still facing Tom, on your right you should see a jumping pad (followed by one more pad) that can lead you to the next possible trick-or-treat target.

Hop up and knock on their doors, for me it was the second one that answered and the first was just an empty house.

The 2nd door I went to, as shown in the image below, is the one that awarded me with the Candy, and without a fight too so it’s a quick one.

This should put you at 2/5 Candies collected.

Candy #3

The closest door you can try next is right under you, assuming that you’re still at the spot where you got your previous Candy (bottom right of the image above). Naturally, with my luck, I didn’t get any Candy here but it’s always worth a try.

Turning your back to that door will point you toward a floating treadmill. Glide to it and it’ll point you toward the next potential target’s door. I had no luck here either, but you might!

Right next to the door, you should see a jumping pad – use it and follow the path to the next door. You can destroy the pile of tiki boxes for a bit of extra money on the way.

Following this path led me to the door shown in the image below that gave me the third piece of Candy, finally!

This one should put you at 3/5 Candies collected.

Candy #4

Right under you to the left are two doors. Jump down and try knocking on both. No luck for me on either one of these, hopefully you have more luck and maybe even get to 5/5 here, you never know!

After trying both of those, I got my Candy from the house that’s on an even lower level from these two. Jump down once more and knock on the door, that should get you your fourth Candy.

This one put me at 4/5 Candies collected. We’re almost there!

Candy #5

Go through the mini jumping course that should be on your left, assuming that you’re still facing the blue NPC’s door.

Follow up by using the jumping pad and jumping to the right. This house didn’t get me any Candy, but it might be different for you.

If you had no luck, jump down and try the house on the lower level. Following the wooden fence should lead you there, as shown in the image below. Naturally, I had no luck here either.

I hope your luck’s better than mine!

You’ll get to your next possible Candy location by going across the field of snail shells as shown in the image below.

If you don’t find anything here, we’d have to go across the map so first, we have to get to a higher level.

Use the jumping pad to your left with your back turned towards the door you just knocked on. Follow up with the next pad and you’ll be on more-or-less the right level.

This image should help you with orientation, as the last house is quite far.

To get across the map and to the last Candy location, look to the left as shown in the image above and you’ll see a treadmill course. Go through the course and you should quickly find yourself at the location of the last piece of Candy we need.

This is where I found my last one, putting me at 5/5 Candies collected.
