Sometimes you will be fighting with a lot of enemies outside of Hogwarts, while for some quests you are going to be looking for hidden details and secrets throughout its interior walls. In this guide, we shall show you one such quest which is called Cache in the Castle, and how you can complete it. Let’s get started.
Hogwarts Legacy – Cache in the Castle Quest Guide
Map Starting Location
This is the map location of where you need to be in order to start the Cache in the Castle Quest. As you can tell from the picture above, you need to head to and inside the Defence Against The Dark Arts Tower. Once you get here, look for the NPC by the name of Arthur Plummly.
Reading The Map
This is the map that you will be given without any instruction whatsoever on how to find these places in Hogwarts. It isn’t clear at all but if it does help you and if it does ring a bell on where to actually find these places, you may go ahead and look for them. If not, here are all the steps on how you can find them.
Step 1 – Up The Stairs From The Yard
You will need to come to the Transfiguration Courtyard. Once you get to the yard on the outside, just take the north door and you will come across these very large staircases. Just follow them all the way up and take the left turn.
Once you do so, you will come across the first location of the rhino skeleton and skull.
Step 2 – Toward The Painting
After finding the Rhino skeleton simply head outside into the yard again. Once here you will look for the very large tree and need to walk toward the door behind it. Simply enter the highlighted door and take the first right turn and use the stairs that will lead you up.
Once up the stairs on the second floor is where you are going to find the portrait from the map. Now just equip Accio as your spell and use it on the highlighted square shown in the picture above. This will get the painting to come close to you and you can open up the door to loot the chest behind it.
Step 3 – Turn In The Quest
For this one you just need to head on over to the Charms Classroom and give the quest and details you have completed to Arthur himself. Once you do so, you will complete the quest. Congratulations!
