Your life in Hogwarts Legacy wouldn’t just revolve around spells, magic, and potions. If you still haven’t known, different creatures also live around Hogwarts castle. This includes the poltergeists, elves, and even beasts.
In fact, you should deal with these beasts as a part of your journey in Hogwarts. Aside from petting and befriending them, you should also breed these beasts.
And through this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know in breeding Hogwarts beasts.
How to Breed Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy
Throughout the whole story of Hogwarts Legacy, there are 13 locations of beasts that you can discover. However, you will only be needing 12 beasts to breed.
Once you finish breeding all 12 beats, you will be able to claim the Nature of the Beast trophy and achievement.
But before you can learn how to breed them, you must first accomplish the Deek’s side questline which will be available after you finish The Room of Requirement quest and the Foal of the Dead side quest.
Buy Breeding Pen Spellcraft
Given that you have already finished the quests mentioned previously, head over to Tomes and Scrolls to buy a breeding pen spellcraft.
As you walk inside the shop, you will see Thomas Brown. Here, you can buy different conjuration spellcraft.
Look for the breeding pen spellcraft and buy it for 1,000 coins.
Rescue a Male and Female Version of a Beast
After you have purchased a breeding pen spellcraft, you can proceed on exploring the beast locations, and rescue a male and a female version of its kind.
To catch them, cast the Levioso spell and use the Nab-Sack to transfer them to the Room of Requirement.
Conjure the Breeding Pen
When both beasts are caught in the Nab-Sack, go back to the castle and talk to Deek. During the conversation, choose the response saying “I’ve rescued the Thestrals and bought the spellcraft for the pen.”
It will then show a cutscene of a pen appearing inside the room.
Transfer the Beasts
When the new room has been added, enter it and choose the beasts you want to breed. Simply click the beasts of the same kind from the right panel to transfer them to the left side.
Make sure that there is a male and a female to get this done.
Then, go over your spellcraft and look for the breeding pen to conjure it.
Upon conjuring it, approach the list in front of the pen and choose the beast species that you want to breed. Each breeding lasts for 30 minutes.
