Hogwarts Legacy: Complete Monster Guide

Hogwarts Legacy isn’t exactly the best at keeping its students safe.

In the time of Harry Potter, I can make a list of all the student casualties and it will reach the floor. However, that’s not really fair to them, as they were constantly under attack by Voldemort.

In Hogwarts Legacy, students can exit Hogwarts and go out to fight the undead, as well as even dragons. Yeah, student safety was not their priority.

But if you are planning on going out to fight monsters, then use this guide to help you fight them efficiently.

Complete Monster Guide – Hogwarts Legacy

List of Monsters and How to Fight Them

There are a lot of monsters you can fight in Hogwarts Legacy, including humans (because humans are capable of monstrous acts, so they count here).

However, none are more dangerous than these 10 monsters. Here’s a list of them, as well as strategies on how to fight them:

Dragons

These large creatures use the fire they spew out of their mouths as their main attack. It has high damage and can attack multiple targets at once.

However, it will take time to charge its attack, which is the perfect opportunity to send a barrage of spells toward them to dwindle their health.

Wizards

The wizards are, of course, magical beings that will fight you with spells. They can be either students or villains, but it’s mostly the villains that you should watch out for, as they fight dirty.

They will send a barrage of spells at the start of the fight, which you should block. They will eventually become exhausted, which is the opportune time to strike back.

Acromantula

These spider creatures use the darkness to hide and attack when you least expect it.

Use spells like Lumos to light up the area and attack them when you see them.

Goblins

The goblins are the main antagonists of the game. They are similar to wizards, in which they also use magic to fight you.

However, they are much smaller and slow to move, so use that to your advantage.

Centaurs

The famous half-horse, half-human creatures are well known for their speed and aim, which carries over to Hogwarts Legacy. They are fast and deadly.

Never get too close and instead, stay at a distance. The distance allows you to give yourself enough time to defend yourself from any attack.

Trolls

Trolls are large creatures that pack a wallop when attacking someone. You can block their attacks, but doing so will leave you open for a bit.

It’s recommended to keep some distance between you and the trolls. They are still slow, so you should be able to put some distance easily.

Inferi

These undead creatures have a weakness against fire. Once damaged with any fire spell, the damage they take is increased.

They are fast, however, and will charge at you at the first chance they get.

Graphorns

The Graphorn is an enemy you will fight once. You can then tame it afterward.

But the fight itself is still hard. It uses its speed to get around quickly and charge at you. Just be ready to dodge and block its attacks.

Magic Toad

The Magic Toads are one of the easiest to fight.

They don’t have a lot of health, but they can hit you with a slime that will slow you down.

Fwooper

Fwoopers are adorable creatures, but their song can drive anyone within listening distance to insanity. It’s best to just avoid them.

Huge thanks to KaidGames2 for the information on how to deal with these monsters. If you want to learn more about the dangers of these monsters, then you can check out his YouTube video.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
