There are some hidden locations and treasure map spots that are extremely hard to find. Possibly one of the hardest in the game is the Hipogriff Marks the Spot.

Hipogriff Marks the Spot Treasure Map Guide – Hogwarts Legacy
Map Location
This is the map location where you shall need to head to be able to find this Hipogriff Marks the Spot Treasure Location.
It will be on the very south edge of the map and on the cliff of this very big hill with a castle on top.
You will need to use a flying broom or a mount to get here, however, so make sure that you have advanced through the main story long enough and unlock the flying mounts.
Solving The Hipogriff Treasure Map Spot Puzzle
When you get inside the cave and dungeon, you will find a big statue of a person on the left side.
You need to walk next to it and use a flame spell that will bust the plate in front of the statue.
Once you do so, the statue will turn and give you a cube.
You will need to use Wingardium Leviosa on the cube and pick it up manually.
Now the next step will be to bring it over to the little tile piece on the ground.
You will see two sets of cubes right now. One on the left and one on the right.
This is the number pattern and the spells that you need to use in order to open up the hidden door.
- Confringo
- Glacius
Use those spells on the appropriate cubes that you will see in the picture above.
Once you do so, the door and hidden gate will open up and once you enter it you will see a chest inside as well as a statue.
You shall need to use Incendio to light up all of the plates and then just use the freezing spell on these plates with the arrows on them.
Once you do so, a hidden small door will open with the treasure and chest inside. Congratulations!
