You might have heard or even seen some videos of pets and beasts being available in Hogwarts Legacy but you do not seem to know how to find them or even tame them.
Well, in this guide we are going to show you all the steps that you need to go through to be able to tame Magical Beasts from around the map. Let’s get started.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Tame Magical Beasts
If you do not have the ability or possibility to even Tame some Magical Beasts with your character in Hogwarts Legacy, it means that you haven’t progressed far enough into the game yet.
You need to play through the main story until you reach and unlock the Room of Requirements. This is somewhere around the 20th to 25th main mission of the game.
So simply play on through the main story of the game until you get this as your quest given by Professor Weasley.
The mission is absolutely amazing so we don’t want to spoil anything for your experience.
After you have passed that quest, you are going to go through the main quests still, and about 2 or 3 quests later you will pick up the quest called Beasts Class.
It is within this quest that you will get the basics about taming, feeding, and taking care of your beasts and pets.
After you complete this quest, another one will start called The Elf, The Nab-Sack, And The Loom.
Once you complete this quest now, you will obtain the item called Nab-Sack. It is with this item that you can run around and tame and capture beasts around Hogwarts.
Capturing & Taming Beasts
While within this quest you are going to go through a couple of stages of finding and capturing beasts.
Everything will be shown to you on the mini-map.
Once you have captured some of the beasts around the world, you have the option of taking them back to the Room of Requirement and adding them to Vivairum. This is the button to press to tame your beasts.
Once you have done so on certain beasts, you can go back to Deek and simply enter the Vivarium.
Inside is where you can nurture and take care of your tamed beasts. Congratulations!
