The vast differences between all the enemies you’ll come across in Hogwarts Legacy are stunning. Each of them has a different way of killing your character, but the spiders, the spiders are definitely the ones to be most scared off.
In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Tangled Web Quest where you’ll be facing off against a lot of spiders. Let’s get started.
Hogwarts Legacy – Tangled Web Quest Guide
Map Location
This is the starting map location where you are able to actually start the quest itself. Come to the town of Hogsmeade and look for the NPC by the name of Crispin Dunne in the Three Broomsticks shop.
Once you pick up the quest you will need to head to the town of Aranshire.
Step 1: Find Mary
Your first task once you teleport to the town of Aranshire will be to kill all of the spiders coming to the hamlet. Once they are down, simply go searching through the houses for Mary.
Behind the house of Mary, which will be marked on your map, is where you can find her Cellar. You shall need to enter this Cellar and then continue to defeat all of the spiders that are below.
Take the stairs that will lead you to the underground and look for the nest. Be prepared to deal with a lot of spiders however, make sure that you are prepared.
Step 2: Destroy Egg Sacs
Once you are inside the cave you will be looking for these Egg Sacs on the wall.
A very good tip to know when looking for them is to simply use the Revelio spell. This will make it so that you can spot them from far away even through the walls.
There will be a total of 12 of them and you can find them just on the main path of the dungeon. That means that you’ll follow the only road in this cave and you can find them all.
Step 3: Find The Source Of The Eggs
Keep following the marker that is shown on your map. There are really not a lot of routes that you can take in the cave which makes finding the source that much easier.
Just keep following the paths after the cave rooms and follow the webs on the wall.
After a while, you’ll reach a very big wide open cave space with the boss spider in the middle. You shall need to kill this boss.
Once the spider is down, you can go back to Hogsmeade to turn in the quest. Congratulations!
